Short chapters are my fav too

Took me a while to finish the book bc life/work got busy. And also it was slow at the beginning? I enjoyed the story but felt there was alot of lead up. Also lots of directions it could go to

At the end, I was shock of what I was reading !! I wouldn't have thought

I read this book bc I saw that The Housemaid is talked about so much on booktok! The storyline is very good- going the the story through Mille's POV. But part 2?!?! I did not see that coming. The book reminds be a lot about The Last Mrs. Parrish & Verity!! But I feel like The Housemaid is the perfect mixture between the two.

This book... interesting

I don't like the teacher/student relationship. Not my thing at all. But the way my mouth dropped multiple times during this book is a lot. Would be a one star but have two stars for the twists and the ending.
