book three really picks up and gets exciting. just when the momentum hits a lul will wight knows when to keep you surprised. no fluff and straight to the point. I love this style of writing.
As a huge fan of cyberpunk-oriented stories, I genuinely wanted to love this book. The core system and world-building were intriguing and held a lot of promise—but unfortunately, the narrative got weighed down by repetitive, mundane school life sequences that didn't feel essential to the story. I found myself wishing the protagonist had been placed in more unpredictable, high-stakes scenarios—ones where his survival or deeper consequences were truly on the line. Perhaps my expectations were simply misaligned, or maybe it just wasn't the right time for me to read it—but either way, I walked away feeling underwhelmed by what could have been a much sharper, more dynamic experience.
good start to a magical world school setting. small critic, I wish they kept the momentum going from the begining to end
