this book made me go "oohh....." at every iteration of napolean's dictatorship bro what a powerful story and how extremely reflective of our modern day... i think the most poignant part was the rewriting of history and how the animals werent intelligent enough to notice and those who were didnt do anything bc it was no use... wow wow wow. much better than 1984 and in way less words 👏👏👏

this book took me forever to finish but when i actually started reading it was hard to put down. really enjoyed how the two stories mirrored each other. it was excellent storytelling and a cute idea. i dont feel like writing a review but this was a worthwhile read for sure. lowkey am a wimp bc reading about murders at night creeps me out

call me biased but that was a 5/5. i had the privilege of reading this all the way through pretty much in one sitting and woah my goodness. so many tears it was so gripping and engaging tbh i liked how they spent so much time on the lam not knowing wtf to do with finding the horcruxes bc bruh IT IS REALISTIC! i loved everything about this book the plot progression was incredible there were such amazing moments pretty consistently throughout i loved their relationship mending w kreacher and bro i genuinely lost it when dobby died even tho i knew he would.... and neville. bro he is the bravest most heroic little boy he is the star of the entire series... him and dobby i think. just incredible writing she really ended it off on a bang just wow

i think rowling did a great job of capturing the angst of a 15 year old boy and creating an atmosphere of anger, rage, bleakness and grimness but that isnt super enjoyable to read... like i looove how she writes quidditch, i love harry and sirius' interactions, harry and dumbledore and the fact that we are so deprived of that in this book makes it unable to compare to the others. i understand why she did it, but this feels like a transitional piece more than anything. i think Chamber of Secrets had that transitional vibe- nothing really happened in the end but i cared so much reading it. this book has kind of the opposite effect, so many significant things happened yet i did not get as much enjoyment nor rich imagery from it. idk! not saying it was bad tho, i loved harry being a classic boy and i cried my eyes out after what happened to sirius and the aftereffects. so so so so sad. it's starting to get very dark!

i so wish i had the time and patience and focus to read this all in one sitting but i obviously had to split it up and gah. what a book man the writing is just sooooo freaking phenomenal the shift from youthful charming boyish childhood to impending doom and traumatic death experiences just. you know shit is about to get bleak dreadful and dark after this book. i cried so many times it's just so incredible. jk rowling is consistent as hell tho she loves to explain things at the end all at once but hey dont fix what isnt broken! such a wonderful tale of adventure and imagery and gosh it was colorful and magnificent and magical to read. seriously amazing

you know what i did really enjoy this book rocky is so cute and im actually so happy w the ending bc it wouldve broken my heart to a million pieces if he had to leave him forever. my biggest complaint w sci fi is the glazed over eyes i get when i read super scientific descriptions but this book wasnt too too bad. he was quirked up enough for it all to be very entertaining. loved the nonlinear storyline as well, made it very interesting. overall very cute and awesome sauce hero story

this book was good but what PMO was the 30 pages of unskippable boring ahh tell dont show no storytelling ahh backstory. completely unnecessary and ruined the whole reading experience for me. but the rest was fine and the ending was good af so. decent.

this book is amazing and completely totally gagged me i also really love how the narrator spoke about love it was very beautiful and relatable unfortunately. very profound stuff and mind boggling as well the ending gave me the actual creeps. perfect for book club and discussions

this 1 million page book was actually good af it kept me captivated the entire way through except that one part where he went back to the "present" and everything went to shit and was messed up i thought that part was so tired and couldnt wait for it to be over bc it was just blah. but honestly that was 1% of the book and otherwise i really loved it. he had a lot to say and he definitely did not disappoint!
