Good easy read. Mentions crisply about the key elements that need to be present in a business to make it sellable. I would recommend it even for an employee, gives an understanding of the steps to be taken to build a sellable business.
It's ironic that a book on Theory of Everything is of less than 130 pages. But the author does an excellent job of covering various personalities & their theories of the last 2000 years.
But this book is a tough read for a non-physics enthusiast. It covers so many concepts & theories without detailing all of them; and for the better of it or else this book would have been more difficult to understand. I had to read about some concepts from elsewhere to make sure that I did not get lost.
The writing style of the author is witty, he takes a linear storytelling approach which simplifies the reading, and in most places gives simple examples to understand difficult concepts. Loved the arguments on the role of God in creating/destroying universe.
Definitely worth a 2nd read!!!
The choice to betray oneself is a choice to go to war!!!
The book's central theme revolves around Heart at Peace and Heart at War described through various characters.
I enjoyed listening to the book because of its storytelling nature. Although at times some of the topics around People and Objects may feel like a drag, they nevertheless help in setting up the story. You eventually start identifying some characters with real people in your life.
Cons
- The diagrams can be difficult to follow if you come back after a break.
Pros
- Talks about various conflicts which have been around for a millennia
- Unlike many self-help books where there is a one-way communication to the reader/listener. The characters in this book are discussing the topics as a group and through the questions asked the reader becomes part of the group.
- Manages to address the conflicting scenarios at Work, Personal & Social Life
- Asks some very uncomfortable questions to the readers. And the self-deception is going to get caught!!!
Thought provoking...A must read!!!
