This book surprised me. I don't normally read a lot of contemporary books, but this one was recommended by a friend. It's a story that deals with a lot of problems that people can face in the real world, like dealing with grief after a family member's death, and tells us the story of Carina and her family dealing with the loss of her father and a move to a rural town called Forrest, a few hours away from Melbourne. The story overall is really heart-warming and connects with people on a lot of different levels, especially those dealing with grief.
