I really enjoyed this translation. It was fun to read although there were some parts that felt a bit too slow with not much going on, but for the most part it was very interesting to read about Odysseus' adventures.

This book was alright. Easy and fun to read.
A lot of things happen that feel unnecessary and don't quite fit in the overall story... So instead of it moving the story forward or making it more interesting, it slowed it down and made it a bit dull and boring, I feel like. Some things in this book make me furious too, but that is because I am not the target audience (YA is not something I really enjoy anymore).

Took some turns I didn't expect and am not sure if I liked them, but I enjoyed reading this!

Okay so, I really liked the first 3 chapters but then it felt like reading a self-help book rather than essays on love. I agree with many things mentioned and raised in this book but I personally didn't feel like there was a lot for me to take away from it and I also didn't always like the way it is written.

So all in all an interesting read and might be a good book for a discussion but maybe not that enjoyable, depending on your taste and expectations.
