This book was funny, moving, and intense. I read it in three days, but I was so absorbed by it that I could as well have read it in one. If you want to see a glimpse of life as one of the first influencers in the 2000s, this is for you.
Also, be aware that a certain part of the book is about her integrating into a “re-education camp”, and her psychological and physical abuse there for two years.

Unfortunately, I didn't get how deep and philosophical the conversations of this book were supposed to be. To me most dialogs seem fussy and superficial. I don't find any character of the books interesting, and I find the main character condescending and lazy. It was a pain to read this, and I was happy to get to the end of this book, two months after I began to read it. The end does not align with the story to me and it feels like the book finished prematurely.

I love Sally Rooney litterature despite disagreeing with some of her political positions.

A wonderful and learning experience. I wouldn't give it a five stars, because the life lessons are given in a kind of messy order.

A bit immature to my taste, also the plot seems a bit odd and unjustified. I don't really understand the lesson at the end.

This book felt like a tale with the complexity of a brainteaser ; however the ending was a bit abrupt and it seemed to have no purpose.

An interesting approach to death and the absurdity of human behaviors, from the point of view of teenage boys ; I know a lot who would be disturbed by the lack of explanations, but to me it just makes it more poetic.
