Read it in one day, so this book is engaging enough. The beginning was very interesting, actually, but the book lost some steam at the end, in my opinion. I recommended checking this out for fans of psychological thrillers!
I liked the deserted island vibes! I agree that not much is happening in the book until the very end, yet, for some reason, it did not bother me. I liked reading about the characters. The suspenseful atmosphere was great as well!
The expectations were too high, unfortunately. The book was decent but a bit boring and predictable. Not sure if I'll continue on with the series, time will tell.
It could have been my favourite! Yet, it did not happen... Constant flashbacks pulled me out of the story a bit. Netherless, this book is good, just not my perfect read.
