I LOOVED the second half of the book and felt kinda meh about the first half. It would be so much better if it were longer and the main characters did not have sex at the very beginning.

why the fuck do I keep crying over books where characters realize that they hate their job and want to do something else with their lives??? hits too close to home... i envy them so much that they eventually realize their true passion, could never be me

I loved the story and the message of this book, yet it was just so confusing. It's my second book from Stephen Graham Jones and it's the second time his writing style leaves me lost and guessing what's going on. I understand that part of it may be caused by the fact that I'm not a native English speaker, yet I still don't understand why the author needs to make it so complicated...

Bumping the rating up to a 4 star as this reread was successful and I actually liked the book a lot more this time!

This is my favorite book of the trilogy. Great ending!
