3,5⭐️ Another boat book to had to the list for me! It seems it became a selling feature for me in the last couple years... 😅
Such an easy read and the cover is beautiful, but I wasn't as "in love" with the couple as I would expect for a book that has only the main couple as characters for almost the entire story. The survival part of the book was interesting and I was really taken by that side of the story, finding myself unable to put down the book or to not reach for it during an entire day. I wanted to know how they were gonna get out of this mess. Because the book had this cover, I was expecting a more romance forward book and because of it I couldn't help but feel disappointed because I reached for it wanting to read what the cover sold to me: a romance! I know this is not the author's fault, this is a marketing issue but it does affect my rating and from the other comments I saw, I am not the only one that went in expecting something with a lot more romance(don't get me wrong there was romance, but it was not the main focus of the book). I also wasn't a fan of the age gap between them. I will keep reading books by this author, but this one unfortunately wasn't my favorite even if it sure kept me entertained and on the edge of my seat!

Tellement fantastique, amusant et surprenant! Je revisiterai certainement cet univers avec les tomes suivants de la série. J'ai bien aimé le concept de la malédiction et les indices sur certains sujets qui on été donnés au compte-goutte. Les révélations et l'histoire si bien tissée ont très bien réussis à me surprendre sur certains points. J'ai adoré la finale et j'ai vraiment hâte de reprendre ma découverte de ce monde merveilleux et des personnages qui y habitent dans le 2e roman de cette merveilleuse série.
