The main story is just fine.

This wasn't my kind of humor. At all. Whenever Kaoruko wasn't trying to be funny it was a nice read, though. It was just probably the most awkward I've felt reading about a manga loving character.

To be honest, also hated that this was 17 chapters. In a weekly magazine or web posting format, this is fine, but as a whole ass standalone book, this felt so drawn out. Some of these chapters could've been combined into 1 and it would've felt seamless.

Actually sad because if it wasn't for the 2 year age gap between a freshman who's most likely 15 and a senior who's most likely 17 this would've been much cuter because I would've had to think about how much I hate that.
