I always find it difficult to review someone's journey in the rainbow world unless they say something completely outrageous or hit a stronger chord than normal. I respect the journey. Marsha's journey is no different. I think this is my fourth book by a parent of transgender person this year and they are all pretty similar. No one book is better than the other.

Arizona Tape is giving us complexity in what appears to be a very simple tale. I was thinking about this being a quiet story. Choice of The Winter lays the foundation for what is to come.

Jo Carthage gives us a character of strength who has had no choice but to survive. A familiar tale no matter the time period. What sets the story apart is the rich history that the author has set Noor in. We get to taste, smell, and feel the culture of the time. We also feel the abuse and pain of being hated.

Once again, I don't pay attention to blurbs as I didn't realize this is book one in a series (smh). It doesn't so much end as an action cliffhanger as an emotional one for Noor. It will be interesting how the group moves forward and what the fallout will be for everyone. I'm excited.

There is definitely a mystery with the stone. I don't want to give anything away, BUT everyone wants it and no one has it. Things that make you go hmmm.... Liking the mystery so far. I'm in!

The chapters are short and the author moves everyone along at a quick pace. I think there is a cliffhanger. Any survivors don't seem to think so, but I totally do. I think a second book could come out of this and that would be interesting. I don't know if it would be the answers we think because of the prequel chapter and who I think is the voice of THAT chapter - (chuckle) it sounds so confusing right? Yeah, the book is good.

Try and Stop Her is a book that will help you at different points in your business growth. Most stories didn't apply to where I am now. I'm already past some points. I'm not there at other points. As business shifts, I'll come back to this. I highlighted statements that I'll come back to and I'll probably receive other information differently in the future when I'm at a different perspective. This is the advantage of a book like this, it's a great reference and motivation all in one.
