Natti's Most Popular Reviews

Take Brendan Fraser's "Bedazzled" but make it lesbians. Disclaimer- I didn't know about that movie until I started describing this book to someone, but now I get to enjoy a good book AND a Brendan Fraser movie, which is kind of the best of both worlds.

This book is sassy, witty, and even though you know the direction it's probably going to go, there are points where you get so immersed that you're just enjoying the ride- forgetting the Doom of Damocles above.

Maybe it's not fair to review a book I read multiple years ago, but I mostly wanted to just disclaim to anyone peeking at my history that yes I did read this, and it was around 2022.

Some pretty good creativity here, though I have a friend who swears that they pulled Crowley's sex dream journal for their ideas.

If you want a delightfully smutty time with some absurd sex-based magic, buckle up.

(edited for a typo)

I didn't really crack this open before I bought it, and I regret nothing. They say "fuck" a lot more than I was expecting, and I still regret nothing. Before I read it, I lent it to my HR person at work while she waited for her next meeting to start, and thirty minutes of her laughing later, I regret absolutely nothing. I accidentally opened instagram when I was only a few pages in, and got distracted for an hour, and I do regret that because this book was too much of a delight for me to let something like that happen.

Wonderful book, awesome glimpse at queer representation+mental health awareness+neurodivergency+man jobs really suck sometimes+ACAB.

This is some love at first sight stuff, so like Fated Mates. It's not supernatural, it's four men who shoot first, ask later types and run the city with their crime syndicate situation. They get the FMC as a deal from her father, and they're like "yo she fiesty and almost took us out with a baseball bat. Bet."

The characters are trope-y, there are spelling mistakes and missing words (in the edition I read) at times. But I had so much damn fun reading this, that I did NOT care. And further I fall into the realm of "goodness gracious, I might be kind of fucked up".

It's a rivals to lovers, with some deliciously devious dialogue. Witches & Vampires in a modern day setting. While this follows a pretty easy plot, the world building has me really wanting more from this universe.
