I thought this was a decent listen. I’ve long heard book influencers rave about this series, but I didn’t fall in love with the world nor the romance. I felt like the romance lacked a lot of build up.

Interesting mafia romance. I love arranged marriage tropes and mafia romances so this was right up my alley. However, the romance fell a bit short for me. Not enough context of their history to make it feel genuine. I’m slightly interested in the ending so I might just read the next one for the plot.

There was so much back and forth between the FMC and MMC that I was getting annoyed. The world-building is growing and growing that it’s hard to keep track of what sometimes. However, I was hooked by the ending and will be continuing to read.

What a fun and witty couple! Their journey was entertaining and their HEA was heartfelt. Really enjoyed.

I thought the romance itself was okay but the themes that this book touches on speak to me on a personal level. Overall, I enjoyed it as continuation of the series.

So hilariously romantic! I was laughing throughout the entire book, and I really enjoyed the couple. I did feel like there wasn’t nearly enough romance during their high school days to justify the yearning now, but still overall a great listen.

I generally enjoy second chance romances. This one was okay. I liked the twist at the end and the HEA.

I feel like the start of the romance was very quick and rushed. However, it’s started to really pace itself out around the middle. The ending really had my heart wrenching. Just as good as I remember reading it years ago on Wattpad.

Maybe I’m just in a hump or something, but this book wasn’t as interesting of a follow up as a I thought. The romance was more insta-love, and I’m not a big fan of that. It was hard to really savor the couple’s journey.

I’m not a big fan of this MMC. He’s a bit too pompous for me. I also felt like this couple’s romance was a bit too rushed for my liking but still overall an interesting introduction to his species.

I really love the MMC, and I’m so glad that he got his HEA. Introducing this whole other world is super exciting and yet a bit confusing. I distinctly remember that in the earliest books, the main ship’s computer was not able to detect any other life forms on the planet. I know that’s since been debunked with the existence of the islanders, but now we’re getting people underground too?? It’s just all so confusing, but I still eat it up so whatever.

I think the finding of both the clones and the ancestors at the same time is a lot, but I know we have to find the next couples somehow.

Ugh, I have a hard time trying to like the FMC as a character. She wasn’t pleasant before, and she still isn’t any more pleasant now. I do appreciate the ending as I wasn’t expecting Tia to compromise at all. I’m happy that as a couple, they were able to work things out.

A decent couple and story for their romance. I really enjoyed the meet cute and the boss/employee trope. However, I did feel like I started to like the FMC less and less as the story went on. It was hard for me for feel any sympathy about her past romantic experience and how much it was affecting her relationship with the MMC.

Also, what was with her ex calling her? We never got that answer.

Overall, it was a cute listen.

Very cute story, but it didn't hit me as hard as I thought it was going to. I loved the HEA ending, and overall enjoyed the read.

I really enjoyed this story. The romance was well paced and the plot just kept getting juicier! I’m excited to see where things go.

I absolutely loved this story. From the very beginning to the end, this romance and book had me on the edge of my seat! At first, I was a bit confused but enjoyed being able to figure things out piece by piece as we went along. I really like the premise of a scandalous opening to the romance that we saw. It made the yearning feeling more for me if that makes sense. Can’t wait to start the next book!

Soooo toxic, but I'm kinda into it?

I've been really anticipating this couple's story ever since the first book in the series. It was interesting enough, but I was slightly disappointed in the ending. Really? A surprise baby ending? Oh well.

I didn’t enjoy this at all. Difficult to get through. I guess dark romance just really isn’t for me.

This is just a long winded way of saying they were fated mates. This has been the hardest book that I've had to finish so far this year. Not only was the audiobook a whopping 20 hours long for a 372 page book, but the plot fell flat for me. There were whole chapters dedicated to a steamy scene which I felt were unnecessary at times. Overall, I could have done without this book.

Why was this genuinely so good? The concept of the call-girl was brilliant and very sexy. I loved every bit of this romance and felt like the banter/pacing/dynamic was just everything. Absolutely loved this book!

I felt like there were certain scenes that were completely summed up in a sentence or two when they were opportunities to really expand on the romance. Because of that, I didn’t feel the initial connection to this couple at all. I am a sucker for the sibling’s best friend trope though, so I still enjoyed the story. Just a bit disappointed that it felt rushed.

As much as I can appreciate the realness of this couple's struggle, I found it difficult to like them. At times, I felt like I could seriously walk away from this book and be okay. Normally, I don't love the idea of DNF'ing a book, but this was seriously hard to finish.

This book carried a lot more depth than just the romance. It talked about the struggle of friendship, changes in life, career passions, and family dynamics. I did like the life lessons that this book covered, but the plot wasn't all that interesting to me. Overall, it was okay, nothing too crazy.

What a cute story and couple! I loved their communication and understanding with one another. I felt like their relationship was so well done and mature. They had real problems and were able to find reasonable solutions. I overall enjoyed for a non-spicy contemporary romance.

I’ve gotta file this under ‘WTF Did I Just Read?’

Had me hooked throughout the entire book. I literally could not figure out what was happening, and I’m glad I stuck it out. This was giving me fever dream vibes and yet, it was so good?

I was really antsy getting to this couple. They were being teased up to ever since the Ice Home series started. I was curious on how their relationship was going to go in this book!

I liked certain elements to their relationship. Brand new things were being introduced that I really enjoyed. I thought it was very interesting to bring the idea of therapy to the series. It really goes to show how not every relationship is automatically perfect, including the sex! I felt like that wasn't something that we saw so far which is so odd considering this is already the 12th book in the Ice Home series (after the original Ice Planet series and all their couples too). I love that Bridget was able to bring back pottery/ceramics to their community too. It made her character overall more interesting.

I really loved the development of their relationship and how it evolved over time. However, this romance did not stand out to me. Definitely not my usual cup of tea, but I still really liked where they went and how they got there together.
