My first foray into the Dresden files and I really enjoyed the mixture of mythos(?). From wizards, to vampires, to ghosts, and holy warriors all in the modern setting Chicago made it a very interesting read. Excited to dig in more
A really fun, unexpectedly piratey read with a ton of small tidbits of cosmere goodness if you know what you are looking for
Honestly took more than a few pages to warm up to it but I ended up loving it by the end. The dynamic between the main characters is so endearing some parts can’t help but tug on the heart strings
