At the beginning I was a bit rolling my eyes when the essay started with the good old "we should all listen to each others" (which gets harder and harder as fascism is only increasing), but slowly it got deeper, showing how divisive our societies have become and how those in power play with those tensions to assert dominance and destroy more and more of our lives. It showed me a bit of hope even if time is getting short to act and have an impact.
Do not be afraid of complexity. Be afraid of people who promise an easy shortcut to simplicity.
