Some events felt a bit forced , the idea of the story has been over used in the vampire genre, although I think it is one of the few good execution for it .
I had zero expectations for this book so I should have enjoyed it more but I really didn't, it was good but I don't care about it enough to finish it even though I actually think it would get better throughout the series if not in the end of this book.

I started listening to this on audiobook but I stopped and couldn't complete it. I think that the idea of it's interesting, and I hope I'll be able to complete reading it someday

WOW this is spectacular, I love the twist even though I predicted some of it, I knew who the bad quy is I just didn't know his plan and what he wanted to do. Lisa Maxwell is a genius author, like the characters always keep you guessing, who have good intentions and who doesn't, and what are their goals. the writing is beautiful, and I really liked the setting, I rarely read historical fiction but when I do I like them. the fact that Esta is from modern day and can time travel makes the plot so much interesting.
I highly recommend this for anyone who like time travel and historical fiction.

I really enjoyed listening to her narration, and I can tell she was passionate about writing this book. I had never expected to enjoy reading a memoir before, but I was curious about this one.
I appreciated how fast paced this was. Her journey with child stardom, her abusive mother, dealing with ED. It's a lot of information but because of how well written it was it didn't feel overwhelming. Overall it was insightful and I would definitely recommend if you are okay with the sensitive subject matter.

I already pushed myself through the first one,I thought this could get better. it feels just like the first one to me. I just don't care about the characters nor the story, it seems dragged.
