I really enjoyed listening to her narration, and I can tell she was passionate about writing this book. I had never expected to enjoy reading a memoir before, but I was curious about this one.
I appreciated how fast paced this was. Her journey with child stardom, her abusive mother, dealing with ED. It's a lot of information but because of how well written it was it didn't feel overwhelming. Overall it was insightful and I would definitely recommend if you are okay with the sensitive subject matter.
This is by far my favorite volume, I think it gave us important details and the story line felt different than the others , and I think it's beautiful way of setting for the rest of the manga. And we finally know more about Hanako which is odd because his name is in the title and we know about him so little. I know that is because he is mysterious and to build anticipation.
it blew my mind, despite not focusing on the vampire aspect this still managed to be without a doubt THE BEST VAMPIRE book that I have read, and have been obsessed with vampire since my childhood and picked up ALOT of Vampire books, they all sucked, they always romanticize it which I didn't have a problem with but.. they all seem to be written in the same way with the same plot sometimes with different premise but it still the same.
This is unique and beautifully written, and it a completely new way of viewing vampire, as the blood-sucking creatures everyone should fear, and I kept guessing what would happen throughout the book and I did not expect this ending. it may not be an ending I have wished to happen but it's unexpectable and realistic.

This blew me away, I think it was written so beautifully, I liked how everything made sense and lined up together in the end. I like the messed up way the Gradner was written, that he believes that he is the girls' savior and that he takes care of his butterflies even though he kills them and showcase them , I really pictured him as a realist villain and not exaggerated.
I cared for the girls and liked Innara/Maya's reason for wanting to hide something from the FBI which at first I thought that was just for making the book longer.
The portrayal of the kidnapped girls and how they acted and were adjusting to the garden was accurate in my humble opinion. There were stuff that were disturbing and it was fitting to the story. I was really invested in the book and can't wait till I pick up the rest of the books.
I have mixed feeling about this, I have never read a dystopian that isn't about saving the world, and have an evil ruler. And I liked the future and tech side of this book the most, I didn't know that there is an incest love story, if I had I wouldn't have read this, despite one of my ALL TIME FAV Series has an incest love story, I don't think anyone can write it beautifully and make me ship it.
The characters that I liked were only two of the entire cast, they're Avery and Watt, Atlas I didn't know much about so I can't say whether I dislike him or not.
this gave me the vibe of Gossip Girl which I don't like, and I don't see, myself continuing on with this series, but anyone who's interested in this should try listening to the audiobook, it makes it easy to follow through.
I'm not sure how to rate and review novellas, Most Of The time they are boring and add nothing to the series so I skip them usually, however I want to continue this series so I decided to reread the ones I have read and thought it would be interesting that I read this and Iam glad that I did.
I like how passionate and cleaver Celaena is, and seeing her life as an Assassin is good like most of the time whenever someone is an Assassin or works with mafia or anything they only show you their bad side and when they want you to see them as good or they're not as bad as they seem they show a side they didn't before to trick into thinking you have missed something about them and I HATE when anybody does that. She is definitely the same person I have read the first 3 books, she just happens to be raised by masters who taught her to kill and she is supposed to pay them for raising her which I think is messed up, now despite that she sees them doing something she feels strongly against so she does everything to stop even though it could have ended up badly for her. I think I'm giving this 4.5 stars

WOW this is spectacular, I love the twist even though I predicted some of it, I knew who the bad quy is I just didn't know his plan and what he wanted to do. Lisa Maxwell is a genius author, like the characters always keep you guessing, who have good intentions and who doesn't, and what are their goals. the writing is beautiful, and I really liked the setting, I rarely read historical fiction but when I do I like them. the fact that Esta is from modern day and can time travel makes the plot so much interesting.
I highly recommend this for anyone who like time travel and historical fiction.
It's obvious that the main focus is the romance, I wish you have seen a development in their relationship, we did see flashbacks of their past in high school but since they finish high school shouldn't their relationship be more than just kissing, plus the plot wasn't very good, and what looked like it's supposed to be a twist didn't shocked me because I hardly seen the person whom the characters seems very surprised and betrayed by. I liked that Nova has a hearing aid, I never seen that portrayed in a book before, but there was a scene where Nova wasn't using them and she was talking to her grandmothers which made no sense because it's seemed like a big deal to Nova to wear them and a lot of the dialogues were about them.
I didn't like the art style, I'm pretty sure they didn't explain about why only Tam was trying to get rid of the demon, Nova and her grandmas are witches they cloud try with their magic too, why is it supposed to a werewolf ? And since there is wolf magic then shouldn't there be books about it or maybe a pack of werewolves to help Tam.
If you're reading this for the romance there is a great chance you'll enjoy this
If you're reading it for the witchy and spooky stuff I don't think you'll enjoy it much, giving we got little about how the magic system works.
while I'm reviewing this, the webtoon still hasn't finished yet. I'm in Ep 23
I think this was a bit slow since it's meant for a younger audience, David and his friends all around 14.
This was enjoyable for me, and I'm interested in reading more, I want to know how and why does David have, and why do his eyes glow? there is still so much we don't know. I just love David so much and I like how he is set on investigating Lalin's Curse and he doesn't give up even when the people around him keep telling him his theory cannot be true.

The ending was perfect for the first book.
There is hardly anything I didn't like about this book.
The beginning was pulling, Kell is an interesting character, it was an amazing journey to get to know him and this world, although I felt there were things about the world that should have been explained, maybe in the next two books . Lila was good too, for some reason I'm not liking much, I do love her conversations with Kell, and I think they're a good fit, I like how V.E. Is not rushing their relationship, and not making it all about romance which is refreshing to read . I also like Rhy and how Kell cares about him so much, he'll do anything to save him
3.5
I preferred Vol 2 over this, this is still great,in this volume not a lot has happened besides the fight scenes, I like that Kaneki finally accepted that he is half a ghoul now. I really liked the fighting scenes. and I do think that the story line is getting more interesting. Till this point I'm still so obsessed with the art style. it looks incredible , and the manga being black and white makes it looks so much better, plus it fits with this world well.

This book talk about subjects such as Love،Being Gay، eating disorder ،feminism ،sex and rape. I would recommend it if any of these subjects interest you.
As I got through 45% of it I started to enjoy it more، I highlighted 10 poems ، there was one poem about zodiac signs ،this was probably my favorite . I don't believe in them I just like to read about them. There were 2 or 3 poems that I wanted to skip but the rest were good.
Blythe mentions how her mother didn't accept her sexuality and her felling sorry for begin this way. The title tells it all ،it mostly about apologizing for what she did to her body. The writing is good ،meaningful ،and gives you things to think about، maybe things you do to yourself that could be considered harmful and makes you fell bad about yourself but you keep doing them anyway;in a way it's self hate.

Milk and honey was the first poetry books I read and at the time I thought it was the best poetry book .
After I had read this I feel like this is better than milk and honey . My favorite poems are in the last part ‘Waxing' I enjoy most of the poems . This was an enjoyable experience ، I look forward to read more books by Lee Broda .this will definitely be one of the books I think about throughout my life and I think I will reread it many times.
Milk and honey was better.
A majority of the poems I either didn't like that much or wanted to skip. A few that I liked it and stood out to me.
Maybe reading Milk and honey made my expectations high, I kinda felt I was reading the same poems from her previous book, so that why it bores me and took me a long time to finish.
