never has a <400 page book felt so long.

characters were good, but there was way too many of them.
the community interaction was (I believe) the point of the story, and it was good when it paid off but it paid off way too infrequently.

overall probably a good book in the literary sense, but it's not a book I've enjoyed reading. almost dnf'd it several times and if it were not a book club book I doubt I ever would have finished it.

...well, guess it was mostly just me then. didn't love this one, unsure if I'll read more of Ms. Silver's work.

I loved alexis and daniel, I really liked their story, and as much as I despise third act breakups, this one made a decent amount of sense to me - they needed to figure out what they actually wanted from their lives outside of each other. 4.5 stars.

well-written, poignant, and unfathomably sad

this book was excellent, but absolutely devastating.

this book was very sweet and I liked it a lot!! probably would have been a five star read for me if not for the act three breakup - as much as it made sense for the character development that needed to happen, those always mess with the momentum of the book for me.

I really enjoyed the mobius-strip plot style, I really enjoyed blue and red, I think I just wanted more worldbuilding? I'm not sure what entirely went wrong between me and this book.

this book was almost unbearably corny. I liked the love interest, oscillated between cringing and laughing with the protagonist, and loved the small town setting and the premise.

as someone currently in a depressive spiral about late-stage capitalism, maybe reading a book about a woman in an out-of-control depressive spiral because of late-stage capitalism was a bad idea.

it made me a little uncomfortable & a lot depressed.

this book is unfinished, this is part 1 of 4. I liked it but wanted more.

I like Colin, and I love Pen, but for whatever reason I did not gel with this book
