A fantastic book with engaging stories from different communities around the world. The book really pulls you in and makes you feel less lonely in the fight against car dependency. I'll be reading several passages at future city council meetings.

I can't wait for all cities around the world to adapt the autoluw model. The Dutch have a 50 year head start but this means we can learn from the mistakes made along the way and quickly rebuild our streets for people and not just cars.

Great novel with a unique time structure narrative. I felt a bit eerie reading this during the current global pandemic. Supposedly they are working on a TV short series.

A collection of essays from blog writer David Cain (www.raptitude.com). It offers insight and science behind the human species and why most of us end up living a normal, typical life instead of becoming a true individual. I don't really consider it a “self-help” book but rather practical and philosophical advice that can be put to test right away. Highly recommended.
