

I’ll be honest, if you’re familiar with modern dystopian fiction, a lot of this felt like a bit of a slog (sorry!). But then that’s because this is probably the strongest brick in the foundation of the genre. It was undeniably powerful and prescient, but I can’t say I found it an enjoyable read and I doubt I’ll ever pick it up again.
