This novel was an excellent read! I really enjoyed reading this. It is fiction and also non-fiction. Beautifully written prose that is quite poetic at times.

As Murakami wrote in the afterword every writer has a limited number of stories that they keep telling in different ways and that is true for this novel. Many motifs from his earlier novels are featured in this one as well. It was still an enjoyable read. His writing is so beautiful that one doesn’t want to rush through to find out what happened next. It is especially true for this novel as part of the story is set in a realm that is defined by nonexistence of time.

What a lovely book! Many inspiring photos and a few wonderful essays featuring fireflies from different perspectives. I have followed Pete online for a long time and have taken inspiration from his pictures to take some of my own which are nowhere close to his.

Lovely memoir by Etgar Keret. I really liked his sense of humor.

Really liked how three different stories were intertwined and brought to a conclusion at the end.
