See allAs Murakami wrote in the afterword every writer has a limited number of stories that they keep telling in different ways and that is true for this novel. Many motifs from his earlier novels are featured in this one as well. It was still an enjoyable read. His writing is so beautiful that one doesn’t want to rush through to find out what happened next. It is especially true for this novel as part of the story is set in a realm that is defined by nonexistence of time.
