Another great Reynolds scifi novel, and can be read as a stand-alone book (I have not read the other Revelation Space novels as of yet). He continues to amaze with his world-building.

Excellent sequel in every way. Suarez has filled that missing niche for me where Koontz and Crichton used to reside.

What a ride! Some of the most geeky fun I've had in a while, and a really good page-turner!

Charming and funny...you don't get to the video-game-style premise til the end of Vol 1, but it's worth it. Definitely will be checking out Volume 2.

Not a good follow-up to the series. Liked the first volume a lot, but felt it went downhill a bit after that.

Started off with a bang, but ultimately I just lost interest and stopped reading about a third of the way thru.

The series continues to be great

Now THIS is what vampires should be - dark and scary! A return to form for vampire novels, and a very fast read!

Incredible space opera!

Incredibly moving.

Great writing style and overall a narrative that hooks you. Lost me with some comments on faith at the end, which is unfortunate, but overall a good read.

One of the best sapce operas ever. Period.

Read this a long time ago before anyone had ever heard of it (and long before the musical appeared), and with the announcement of a 4th and final book was reminded how much I loved this one, which then led to me remembering that I had not read any of the sequels.

I loved Maguire's twist on the Oz story so much back then that I read each successive book he produced. Now that the series has been finished, I think I'm going to just have to read 1-4 from start to finish when the new one comes out.

Second time reading this, this time through the “Dracula Daily” read-by-email on the actual dates of the diary entries version. Reminder of how original and creative the format is, especially coming from the Victorian period.

Read it for the first time in high school and couldn't get through it. Picked it up again in college and loved it.

One of his best.

While book 1 was enjoyable, this improved on the concept and writing in many ways.

An incredible, wild, sweeping novel...

The premise is saved by the author's excellent writing.

Amazing book on writing. If you need inspiration or a kick in the pants, this one is highly recommended!

Amazing finale to this wonderful series!

One of the most awesome scifi epics ever, with brilliant ideas about what the internet could be before the Matrix came along...

A lot better than the title and cover implies. A friend gave me this novel, knowing of my love for zombie tales. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the writing was. The suspense and horror was every bit as good as something like “28 Days Later.” Highly recommended for zombie-lovers.

Stopped reading about 1/3rd of the way through when I read several reliable tech resources say that Isaacson was not a reliable person to be writing this, based on his lack of technical knowledge and what to focus on while writing the book, and made errors throughout.

Tis a shame....

Loved this book all the way til the end, and then King ruined it with one of the worst cliffhangers ever.
