this was so amazing, each story was told so brilliantly that it hooked me in such an amazing way. i couldn't bring myself to do anything else other than listen to these little horror stories, and god were they scary, they've done such an amazing job for this first season i cannot wait to see what's coming up next! besides these little plots, the way they developed the main plot was fantastic, giving us little bread crumbs throughout the beginning and never leaving these archived statements when the plot becomes bigger and bigger throughout the season. really, this was so well done, so many mysteries and so much more to uncover, i can't wait !!
i'm just very sad that sasha is gone, i really liked her :(

fuck everything, this was perfect i loved it so much! kageyama as lightning mcqueen was the best choice ever made and i loved the whole concept. his character was so well developed too and i loved the writing, and even though i was absolutely captivated by kageyama's point of view i would love to read everything all over again but in hinata's point of view! the whole thing was so well written that it wasn't necessary to switch over to anyone else and it was perfect as just tobio's pov, but god would i love to read hinata's thoughts

It's a very easy and quick book to read, but unfortunately, it took me this long cause I ended up not liking the story as much as I thought I would. I couldn't connect much with the characters, and I felt the overall plot was simply not for me. I understand why people loved this book so much, but I just couldn't get into it...
One last thing I'd like to comment on was the way her demisexuality was portrayed... It felt like “Oh I'm a straight guy, but I fell in love with this man, but I'm still straight, he's just the exception”, and I didn't like how suddenly Jack was “the exception” because that doesn't just happen... Especially when it comes to the asexual spectrum; though I'm ace and not demisexual so maybe it /is/ different and it can happen.

and here's the thing... this book has a lot of amazing things and i absolutely loved reading these characters' childhood and their fears and relationships with each other and the world, but there were a lot of unnecessary parts. this book made me feel very uncomfortable a lot of times and after a while i really got tired of all the discrimination it has.. i mean it discriminates black people, the lgbt+ community, jews, asians and those are the ones i remember.. stephen king probably wrote mike as a black character just to be able to write all those insults and say the n word how many times he wanted. it was way too much. and then didn't focus enough on the story telling itself, and even though i loved some parts of the book, there were a lot that i couldn't despise more. so i'm pretty sure this is a an exact 50%, very balanced out... would love to reread certain parts, but i don't think i could ever read it in its entirety again...

Kinda crazy how fast I read this... I was way too excited for this, so I was just trying to read the most amount of words I could, just to get the whole story I feel I ended up not taking enough time to appreciate it to its fullest, but I ended up really liking it and I'll probably reread this someday
