One of the best book series that I have read for a long time. Highly recommended.

Probably 3.5. Took me a while to get into the story.

Beautifully daft, and I loved it!
Need another book.

One of the best fantasy novels I have ever read. RJ continues to surpass himself. Bring on the next two volumes.

I had just started this book when I discovered that the author had been accused of (and admitted to) sexual harassment. Rightly or wrongly I could not finish it.

2.5 Not impressed by the hero of the book

A worthy sequel to Ten Low. A complex, violent and mysterious story. I say no more, just read it (and Ten Low)...

3.5 - was a little disappointed by the ending

I have read most of the earlier Elric books, but sadly this book was disappointing. Turgidly verbose and meandering; it was a struggle to finish.

Gave up halfway through when the plot twists just got too silly, and really irritated me. Not a patch on the first two books.

Nah, not for me.

Can't say I enjoyed it. The plot gets more implausible as it progresses.
I had to finish it to see how it ended - not worth the effort.

Dull.

Finished the first two books. Good action, but overkill on the religious philosophy. Gave up on book 3.

2.5 Meh. Typical Reacher formulaic plot
.

3.5 Dark, gothic, but was too long and the second half rambled somewhat.

This started OK, but 25% through it went very silly and by the end, completely Tron.

I thought I had read this book, but pleased to find I hadn't. Great hard SF.

Read two chapters, that was enough.

This was my first sortie into the Kurtherian universe. It is a young adult series, so a little corny - rom/com meets Marvel meets Space Opera.
However it was quite good fun.
