this was so so so so good. in other words, I loved it. Red's character was interesting and I loved to see how she grew from book 3. I also really liked how her past chapters were titled as ‘then' and then her present chapters were written as ‘now'. I don't know which I liked more, her past or her present. I liked both but each part was different so..I have no clue which I liked best. as usual, seeing Elisa and Hector in this book was amazing. I also really liked Rosario in this book. high-key don't wanna leave this amazing series/world, but I enjoyed my time reading this series ❤️
yup. this was just as addictive as the second. I really enjoyed Hector's pov every few chapters. he's definitely one of my favorite characters so it was nice to see some of the story from his eyes. when I started this series, I didn't know what to expect, mostly because I was uncertain about a lot. but this is going down as one of my favorite series. I don't think there's anything I didn't like about this series. Elisa was so much more powerful in this book and I found myself rooting for her every chance I got. The side characters were also very enjoyable. this series went by too fast and I'm just glad I get to reread it whenever I want. it will always be dear to my heart ☺️
okayyyy. this was not bad at all. i was hesitant to start this series because 1. The reviews weren't very nice and 2. I'm not a big fantasy girl so I didn't really go into this book with any expectations. I'm happy to say I really loved this book. I unexpectedly made a connection with the characters. i just really liked this book and I'm so excited for the rest of this series!
i have SO much to say about this bookkkk. first of all, let me just begin with slowburn sucks. okay, now on to the actual review. i loved Aiden the first page I met him. he's such a sweetheart and he deserves the absolute world. Sarah..she wasn't exactly a bad protagonist. I just wish she would've been more responsive to things. she was actually really cool tho. oh, and Matt..yeah let's just not, can't stand him at all
wow. uh. this book was.. something else. Adam was definitely my favorite character, he reminds me so much of myself. and Olive's character was nice. loved how she wasn't afraid to be herself, yet she always looked out for people, close to her or not. i laughed and smiled reading this, it was.. phenomenal. I had high expectations for it, and it definitely didn't disappoint.
i didn't know what to expect when I first started this one. Probably because i was still getting used to it being written in second person. i really liked the fact that the author put us in Ariel's shoes, while also it was still Ariel's point of view (if that makes sense). I learned so much from this book. it wasn't what I expected it to be, to be honest, it shocked me in a good way. i also loved the historical events included in this story (Martin Luther King's protests, the Loving v Virginia case, etc). this whole book was a joy to read and I loved every part.
