DNF I was so bored.

SOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOW but i really enjoyed it by the end of the book.

I hate second chance, but I loved this

This novella was everything I wanted it to be! I loved Mateo the moment we met him, and I am so glad we got to follow a bit of his journey into his self discovery and his new relationship with his half sister, Ashlynn. My younger brother is my best friend and I am fiercely protective of him, so I really connected to this story. The found family trope is one of my all time favorite tropes, and the Overbear team in the Drop-In series is one of my favorites to read about.

I also loved meeting Mera! I just knew Mateo was going to be a lover boy, he deserves the world and Mera is perfect for him :) They are so incredibly cute together, and in the words of Anthony Ville.... “Ahhhh to be young again” ;)
