I unfortunately just did not care about either mcs. The big conflict and arc of the story was their age gap. Which got tiring after a while, it felt repetitive.
It was not bad in any way! Eric was a softy with a bi awakening with Kyle as his sex/“firsts” with men coach. Charming, and the edging was enjoyable.
Absolutely all of the stars!!!!!!
I adore Andrew, he really was so sweet and selfless - maybe to a fault. He masked his autism so much, it was exhausting. He didn’t need to mask around Nicholas, who was always blunt and honest about what he was thinking. With their fake dating, there was no expectations so Andrew didn’t NEED Nicholas to like him.
Nicholas is a grumpy asshole hockey player who doesn’t care about anyone but himself - until Andrew. He needed to just be that protector and person Andrew could count on. I liked how Andrew’s asexuality was presented and taken care of in the relationship. Nicki was Andrew’s safe space to just BE. Ask for what he wanted and to be cared for.
I adore this family and this series so so much 💖
This was so beautifully written, and a completely lovely poetic story.
There are ups and downs, healing and grief, dark times and lightness… we see through Torey’s eyes losing and them loving himself again.
Torey and Blair are so beautifully done - their love and bond is strong through this lifetime and the next
Aury is a sweet baby precious muffin to be protected at all cost.
I loved the instant attachment between him and Ghost/Gage the raider who is riddled with anxiety.
They calmed each other by reading to the other!!!!
They defied the odds, and I think the faith and trust that Gage had in Aury helped him be much less lonely.
