I thought the writing was definitely better than Wool but still not great. For me though the story compensated, I love the premise. Also, PLEASE no more Solo, those are (some) rough pointless chapters.

Perry predictable, I hate when I think I have it figured out and I'm right. The entire premise has a pretty big flaw too. It might make a decent movie though

Another excellent book by the authors of The Expanse. While the story is vastly different from The Expanse, I feel a connection between the two as they both delve into human nature. It's just a coincidence that I read this book after reading the Three Body Problem series. Now my perspective on the possibility of encountering intelligent life has become slightly more pessimistic.

Loved the concept and I blew through this book in two days. I really love “grounded” science fiction. (aka, not Star Trek but I love that too so ¯_(ツ)_/¯ ) I'm not big on spoiler filled reviews but I did have one small issue with the ending.

Not even sure what to say. I need more. Some authors can't write an ending to save their lives (Looking at you Stephen King) but Brandon Sanderson is not one of those people. I just don't know how I'm supposed to wait 6 years for the 2nd arc. That means at least 10 years to finish this story :(
