less than 20 pages. pretty writing. fun and haunting story.
“૮₍ •⤙•˶₊˚ෆ going through this author's novellas before i read hills of heather and bone

lush. stunning.

i kept waiting for the ‘fire' part of the fire we make. still waiting, actually. 🌶️: explicit & open door tropes: workplace romance, mutual pining representation: black, sapphic

review coming eventually, but just know, this book will be my entire personality for the foreseeable future

there was something quite dreamy about the storytelling that i really enjoyed. i feel like there was an aspect to this story that, perhaps, would've made more sense if i knew east or south east asian folklore. regardless, i absolutely adored this. can't wait to read more from this author.

super cute, but way too instalove for my taste so prob won't continue.

and if i say i want her otp to be her friend am i being too edgy :(

desperately need a friend who reads romance novels to me aloud while i spiral during a manic episode ♡
