Helped explain the art of acting in a way that helped it make sense to me for the first time ever, so on that basis alone it was't a waste of time.

Having worked in the industry, I found the handling of the studio shooting clumsy. Took months of putting it down and picking it up to finish.

Started slow and sped up, the first third was a great intro to the organized mind of the protagonist. Lovely world building, right length of time lingering inside vs spent outside.

Reads like listening to a drunk at the bar, and about as satisfying of an ending.

Found myself laughing at how stilted the writing was, and not the jokes themselves. Skipped to the end and read the ending... I was right to move on.
