4.5 i really enjoyed this one and i read it so fast it was action packed and it kept me invested the whole time.

this is BETTER than the silent patient I enjoyed it a lot and I read the last half in one sitting. This book is beautifully written as well and i loved the greek mythology in this one and i usually don't really like that kind of stuff. I didnt see the plot twist coming or the motive I thought it was paced perfectly and the atmosphere was so good too! I highly recommend this one!

3.5 this was a 5 star up until that ending. I was actually enjoying this more than The Perfect Child. It wrapped up WAY to quick and felt like it wrapped up too early and i felt like i needed more from the story and wished it was a few pages longer!

easy 5 stars one of my favorites ever and this is definitely next to then she was gone. I enjoyed the podcast/documentary part a lot and it was SO unique. I definitely think this could be a top 10 book for me. Lisa Jewell will forever be in my top 2 authors because she was the one who got me back into reading

SO GOOD oh my gosh not only was the pacing of the story perfect and the horror actually scared me and was actually scary and I just love Grady Hendrix's writting style and the comedic horror and how the book had an 80's song as the title and the 80's setting was perfect definitely done perfectly and I had 0 issues with it and I enjoyed it A LOT

my favorite cover ever and definitely one of my favorite books ever. this is definitely a character based thriller which I actually love and I know its not everyone thing but its mine. the plot always had something going on and I LOVED the main character and the whole concept of this book was amazing. definitely one of my favorites of this year and I will be thinking about this forever.

THE QUEEN HAS DONE IT AGAIN!!!! I am so pleased with this book the atmosphere took me a bit to get used to but I cared SO MUCH for the storyline and the characters and the ending was written perfectly. I think this is a near perfect book and beautiful written. Nothing will ever top Then She Was Gone but this one is ny second favorite Lisa Jewell I have read and its on the top tier of books I have read I absolutely love this book! Definitely a perfect beach read I read it sitting on the beach!

4.5/5 i LOVED this book a lot the first 80 precent was a 5 star and the media at the end of every part was my favorite i did knock a half star off just because there was one little part in the end that was a bit far fetched but overall i really was obsessed with this book and at the atmosphere that surronds it
update: i think this is overall a 5 star reading experience considering how much I think about this book and it was just a tiny scene that bothered me but literally still a 10/10 book

i loved this but my only gripe was it was a bit slow in the beginning and hard to get into but it was so worth it and i loved the story and i am gonna definitely continue in the series

its VERY rare for me to cry in a book and this one got me so hard. i play tennis so it was so enjoyable to read this book and even if you dont play its so easy to understand in this book. i just felt so attached to carrie soto and another character in this book and i didnt want it to end. i just feel like i was so invested and enjoyed every single page of this and it was a perfectly crafted story overall not a single flat point. overall i HIGHLY recommend this was such an easy 5 stars

SO GOOD OH MY this one definitely took about 100 pages to get going but i feel like its what it needed to tell the story it was definitely a darker read but it was phenomenal and the writting was so good how it deals with racism especially in the south and religion. its such a powerful thriller and has a message to it. I really enjoyed this one a lot and will definitely read his whole backlist now!

I did love this book! The atmosphere was everything I did really like the twist I just feel like one of them was a bit out there I know its fiction but it just felt a bit far fetch but its definitely not gonna take away my joy for the book! The drawings were awesome and so unique! Overall a very solid thriller would've been a 4.5 if it wasnt for that grip

this book took a bit to get into which is why its just a 4 but all the twists shocked me and overall a good thriller and id recommended i really love this author's writing style.

local woman missing might have some competition for my favorite book ever. this was honestly one of if not my favorite book i have ever read i am obsessed with it and it was amazing throughout the whole book 10/10 book i cannot recommend enough

i really enjoyed this one. i was scared for a minute there in the beginning it wasnt gonna go anywhere but it TOOK OFF. the characters are catty to the max, and the twists did shock me and it was definitely an entertaining read and i really enjoyed reading it

i enjoyed this more than i thought i would. i really wasnt bored for any of the book and the twist towards the end shocked me. i understand why its hated but i fall into the category of i loved it and the dark academia vibes were everything overall i'd say a solid thriller

MY FAVORITE NOVELLA EVER what this was so good and the setting made it work so well and the ending shocked me to my core. usually its hard for novellas to get a 5 star but this one is an easy 5 star and my favorite novella ive read!

usually domestic thrillers aren't my favorite but this one was probably the most fun i've had in a while in a book. i was always trying to figure it out and i semi did but the twist shocked me. i am a jeneva rose stan this has been the second book by her i've given 5 stars. i found it so fun and each perspective was equally good, this is definitely a favorite of mine!

Ok I did predict some things that happened in this book I didn't see that ending coming and the way it unfolded. I got intrigued with the story immediately. I absolutely loved he characters in this and the way it unfolded in the end. This isn't the most shocking and twisty thriller but it is an amazing one to me and I had a ton of fun reading it. That's the reason I read is to have fun and this one was definitely that and the way it all unfolded was excellent to me. This might be my favorite Jennifer Hiller next to Wonderland.

I am giving this 2 stars because I feel like the beginning was very confusing and hard to understand with the random flashbacks in the middle of chapters. I found the main character annoying the first 2/3 of the book, and I found majority of the dialogue very cringy and I didnt really care about the characters for majority of it.It was just so unrealistic to like not telling your friends about a breakup just a huge stretch. I did like the ending but I hated 90% of this book. I will try another from this author but I am very disappointed with this one.

While this writting style is my favorite, this book I have some flaws. Part 1 is a 5/5 star should've just been left there point blank and the author himself intended it to be that way. Part 2 was predictable and boring not very entertaining and it DID NOT FLOW at all to part 1 what so ever felt like 2 seperate books and it should've been left alone. I will read another book from this author but I am very angry at how this turned out.

WHY IS THIS BOOK HATED ON- i literally loved it so much. the twist midway through i did not expect at all and it was a crazy ride. I had low expectations thinking this would be my least favorite riley sager but it definitely isn't, I loved the way the end came together and the way the story played out. This is an amazing book and now I have read every single Riley Sager book except for the new one which will release Tuesday!

i read this slow because i was somewhat busy and i just didnt want it to end. i absolutely love the storyline and the multiple pov's. I found it SO SO entertaining and the end was just phenomenal. I think this honestly goes down as an all time favorite I KNOW i say that a lot but this book blew my expectations out of the water. Every character was different and none the same. Its rich people drama to the max and the salon setting was just perfect. 5/5 stars highly recommend.
