Another entertaining cozy mystery, book 4 continues with a fun group of characters and an interesting story line. Mixing past and present, they come together to solve a past mystery and a current murder. Very enjoyable read

This read more like it was for young adults than what I had expected. The main characters and flat mates acted more like college kids than the 30 year olds they're supposed to be. The story took forever to come together, with a lot flashing back to the past and long middle. The last quarter of the book finally got interesting and had a few twists.

I've never read any of the other books in this series, but didn't feel like I missed anything. The main character was intriguing and this book kept me guessing. I never did figure out who did it. I'm going to have to go back and read the rest of the books in the series.

This is an easy to read cozy mystery. I have been enjoying this series and this one didn't disappoint. The characters are interesting and the time period is too. I look forward to more in this series. I feel like this can be read as a stand alone even with references to the past books. Thanks for the ARC Netgalley.

I really enjoy the cast of characters in this cozy mystery series. They're such a mixed bunch, but work well together as a team. This is the 3rd book in the series and I'm already looking forward to the next one!

I really enjoyed this 3rd book in the series. The 2 main detectives were interesting and the interplay between the 2 was interesting. The ex-wife was annoying and sad, the way she tried to fit in with the snobby crowd. So much time spent on her that really wasn't that interesting. The rest of the book made up for it, with 3 different investigations going on and a podcast filling in details.

The first part of this book drug with a really unlikeable main character in Iris. Her best friend who she aspired to be like, was also unlikeable. The book picked up in the middle, with the introduction of a few other characters, but the main characters didn't get any more likeable. This was just an ok read. I don't think I've ever read a book where so many of the characters are not likeable.

This book started out kinda dry, with 2 characters doing a lot of describing of their days. The middle picked up when the detectives were added and the story truly became a mystery. The ending was confusing. I don't feel like all the storylines were wrapped up well and I still don't feel like I know who did it.
