Another entertaining cozy mystery, book 4 continues with a fun group of characters and an interesting story line. Mixing past and present, they come together to solve a past mystery and a current murder. Very enjoyable read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This read more like it was for young adults than what I had expected. The main characters and flat mates acted more like college kids than the 30 year olds they're supposed to be. The story took forever to come together, with a lot flashing back to the past and long middle. The last quarter of the book finally got interesting and had a few twists.
Thanks for the ARC Netgalley.
The story weaves back and forth between the past and a missing girl and the present day murder. It's interesting to see that what a child sees a as a prank can turn out to be so much more. Both past and present mysteries come together and the story takes a few twists before coming to an ok ending.

I was excited to get this book, hoping that it would be better than the last which was all conspiracy theory and thriller type. unfortunatey I put it down after the first few pages because it just picked up from the last book.
I had really enjoyed this series and the characters and Three Pines and the basic murder mysteries. This change in the direction has put me off and I won't be coming back to finish the book.
This book was a tough read for me and I started reading and put it down when I didn't feel like I was connecting at all to the story or the main character. I picked it up and put it down several more times before finally finishing it. The story didn't really pick up until partway thru the the book and even then I forced myself to finish it.

I enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one was tough to get started. I started reading and put it down several times. It did finally pick up some and I finally finished it after a lot of skipping pages. I'm not sure what this book so hard to read. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood for it.

This is book 6 in the series and although I haven't read any of the previous books, I didn't feel like I missed anything. The characters were interesting with the main character being able to hear voices from objects. I will have to go back and read the rest of the series.
Thanks for the ARC Netgalley!
I've never read any of the other books in this series, but didn't feel like I missed anything. The main character was intriguing and this book kept me guessing. I never did figure out who did it. I'm going to have to go back and read the rest of the books in the series.

I really enjoyed this book, the 3rd in the series. I thought that I'd read the previous books in the series, but it doesn't look like I did. No matter, it doesn't feel like I missed anything, although I will have to go back and read the others. The different types of search dogs were interesting to read about. I'll be looking forward to more books in this series.
