I tried my best to get through this book but I ultimately had to put it down about halfway through. I usually like teen-based books, and even more so if there is a supernatural element in them, but this was very, very slow. The main character is your typical damsel-in-distress and can't figure out how to cope when things aren't normal. Her faux-boyfriend is the broody, angsty teenage boy that you want to avoid making eye contact with, not because he's scary, but because he's boring and not worth the time. SPOILER He gains control of the girl's foresight powers and keeps a hold of them to “help” and “protect” her. It's as creepy as it sounds - a new boy in your school knows your secret and is keeping it away from you to protect you, even though you've known each other for less than 6 months.
