Andi and Robert did an amazing job with Violet and Robert! I truly loved hearing them come to life before my ears! Andi gave Violet so much more than a voice. She gave so many other women voices throughout this book and I loved her renditions of what the other characters would be like!
Robert couldn't have been more perfect for Everett! He has the perfect pitch and tone to his voice that can be so versatile! He could be soothing, loving but also the authoritative figure in no time! He was perfect through this whole audio! So much so that I am finding everything else he has voiced ☺️.
Violet 💜 and Everett were the perfect example of the one that got away while still being right person, but wrong time! I loved these two soo much 🥰. I couldn't imagine what could have been different! I felt for 💜 Violet through a good portion of this book! She truly weathered the storm ⛈️ with the help of her found family. The ones she never knew she truly had in her corner. I was so giddy that Everett was quick to show her what she has there in Ember Falls. Not just him, but a whole family that was more than happy to welcome her back into their town and lives. I especially loved that her bestie flew 🛩 down to check on her after she didn't answer her phone. With her being there to check on 💜 Violet she was able to see where she had made her new home. She could see that she wasn't alone and destitute!
Everett said he would do anything to keep her from leaving again and that he did! He was such a great person in general but he truly loved her ❤️. His feelings when she came back only grew 10 fold. He knew what he was getting into and hadn't questioned it once because he knew where he stood in everything. He was there for 💜 Violet and not anyone else. He was committed before she ever found out about the baby. He didn't care what or who the baby's daddy was. He wanted to help raise the baby as his own like his adoptive parents did for him! Who wouldn't swoon 🥰 at that? He had the purest of intentions and kept his word!
I loved 😍 that Everett took her on calls with him so she could see his life and job. Truly see what its like for him to be around livestock and animals day in and day out. Of course she fell in love ❤️ with a goat 🐐! They are sooo funny but also menace 😂.
That epilogue couldn't have been more perfect!! I need a book 2 of these characters 😩! But that's okay. I'm excited to see about our next couple!

She has a way with her words and how well she builds her characters! I've yet to find a character she has written that I didn't really love 😍.
Bellamy and Rhys aren't breaking my love 💖 streak anytime soon! Thank goodness! I'm not ready to have a breakup with these two! I absolutely loved their banter, the chemistry that they brought!
Rhys is a whole man that every woman wouldn't mind being married to. But he was down bad for his queen! He said MY LOVE 💓 and boy did he mean it. I was swooning so hard I almost fell out of my bed 😂.
Th swooning never got better and I was almost checked into the hospital because I couldn't stop 😂. My husband and was like what's got you smiling like that? A KING 🤴 DO YOU HEAR ME SIR? He worships the ground his love walks on and wouldn't have it any other way.

Let me just say that Desiree and Jason are absolute ✨️ MAGIC ✨️ together. They truly made this book even better 😍 than when I was just reading it from my kindle. Their voices were even better than what I had imagined they would be for these characters! Don't even get me started about how much fun 😂 I had throughout the book because of their voices making those moments 10 X better!
Okay, lemme stop waxing poetic 😍 about those two and let's get to these amazing characters 💕.
This is the first book I have read by Catherine and lemme tell you it will NOT be the last! I was swept away into Sparrow Falls and I didn't want to come back to reality. There was everything there that I ever needed to stay, but alas reality came knocking at my door 🚪.
Ellie was such a precious soul ❤️. I absolutely couldn't stop gushing over how much I loved her and her heart 💓. She was a woman who definitely needed some healing and amazing family to help her cultivate it. Luckily, she had some amazing people to help her along her path 🧡.
Ellie was nothing short of someone that I would happily call my BFF 💓. She had a heart full of gold and wanted nothing more than to share it. Not only was her heart full of gold, but she was a woman after my own ❤️ heart. She loved 💕 to rescue animals 🐾 that needed her the most. But she also needed them to help heal apart of her too.
Gremlin 🐾 was such a little grumpy baby when it came to Trace 😆, but absolutely LOVED 🥰 🎀 Keely 🎀! I think he definitely needed some warming up when it came to the Chief. But Bumper 🐐 was sold from the very beginning with 🎀 Keely 🎀 & the 👮♂️ Chief! I feel like the approval of an animal says so much about a person. They know so much more about the ✨️ vibes ✨️ a person gives off.
Okay let's wax poetic about Trace AKA the Chief 👮♂️. He was technically the Sheriff but the Chief sounds so much better 😆. He was our resident grump 😾, and we love him for it! He had his reasons to be careful of the company he keeps and wasn't apologetic for it. I loved ♥️ that he had this Grumpy exterior but on the inside he was the ooey gooey center of a cinnamon roll 🥮.
He had a difficult upbringing and he found ways to channel some of that energy, organization. Yep, you read that right. Organization was something that he could control to a T. Everyone in the family and friends knew not to mess with his dishes. Ellie gave him a little shake up with a smile 😃.
But lemme just tell you how much the Chief truly made me swoon 🫠. When it came to Ellie once they were able to see past the initial hump of worries, he couldn't stop thinking about her. Not just thinking but feeling some type of way 💕. Especially when he saw how Keely took to her so well, and she was always showing 🎀 Keely 🎀 what love ❤️ would be like from her.
Being involved with 🎀 Keely 🎀 in anyway she could help, showed that Ellie had a pure heart. She wanted to be herself with 🎀 Keely 🎀 and just have fun with her. She was able to show her what it was like to have someone to do hair dates with. Not just that but also to foster her love of color 🌈. Like painting 🌈 Rainbows 🌈 in her living room and giving her 🦄 Unicorn 🦄 hair for school!
Ellie, Trace & Keely couldn't have been more perfect for each other. They truly made an 💓 amazing 💓 family together, especially when Keely's mom finally realized that Ellie wasn't a threat to their dynamic.
I couldn't get enough of these three and I can't wait to dive back in with another book set in Sparrow Falls!

Savannah and Tor couldn't have been more perfect for Caroline and Austin! If someone told me tomorrow that they changed the narrators, I would be so upset. Savannah truly embraced Caroline and her journey and made me feel as if I was hearing this directly from her. Tor really made me believe that he was Austin and Austin was him! I would have a hard time believing he wasn't this character.
I fell so in love with What Saves Us I didn't expect to love this book more! Two more characters from the town I fell head over heels for, giving me all the feels. I wasnt prepared for tis story in the least but that doesn't mean I didn't love every word spoken.
Caroline has such an amazing story. She not only has a heart of gold but she has a chronic illness that can take such a huge toll on her body and mind.
Like her I have a chronic illness, and it can be absolutely devastating at times. Not just the toll on her body but her mind. She has a life she wants to live to the fullest while she's able to. No one trust understands the path you walk until they walk one just like it. But Caroline just wanted to live her best life, Austin was right there beside her to hold her hand as he was able to help her fulfill those wishes.
Austin was a self proclaimed Good Luck Chuck, but literally had the biggest heart. Here is a firefighter who just wants to save lives, but not just from fire. Austin has such a huge heart, he is so willing to go out of his way to help anyone. But it speaks volumes about who he is as a person if he is willing to help anyone. I couldn't imagine the reach this kind soul has to the one he truly loves.
Austin and Caroline had the sweetest relationship. You could just feel it in your bones as you listened to them how much they meant to each other. They banter they shared was unparalleled. I loved every part of their walk through the relationship they cultivated with each other.
So many feelings hit me while listening to this, but that doesn't mean I didn't love every second even if I shed tears.

Well this book took me out y'all. I can't stop thinking about it loooong after I have finished it. I felt like I was on an emotional roller-coaster even though I had no skin in this game. But that right there tells me that no matter what happens Rachel has a talent that I can't even begin to fathom.
My reading on my kindle has been paltry because I couldn't get into the book. This one though?? Not a CHANCE! I WAS IN IT TO WIN IT!
There have been many days that I cannot remember what time I ate breakfast 🍳, but this book 📚 right here wasn't anywhere close to that girl. I was able to explain in detail to my husband the whole book 📖. I need my emotional support water 🚰 bottle for the whole thing but who's counting that? If you are, then imma have to ask you to mind yo bidness.
Lemme just start the breakdown by saying this book 📖 is going to live rent free in my head until 📖 3️⃣ is on my kindle. This isn't up for debate. This is straight FACTS 💯. All 4 of our main characters have a CHOKEHOLD ☠️ on me. I am LIVING for each one of their stories!
Avery, our girl 💕 who is sooo strong. She doesn't even know how strong she is, until she does. She has been through so much, yet still stands on business on BOTH FEET planted firmly on the ground. She definitely had the crap stick end of things 😩 for a little bit in this one. Dealing with her mom's health issues along with her sperm donor. Yeah you read it right 😘. Sperm donor. He doesn't deserve the title dad, and probably never will 😁.
But that didn't stop our girl from fighting for what she wants, and continually fighting for her and hers. She went through the ringer in this book but not without an unfortunate reason. She was able to see where she stands with all 3 men 🖤. She was able to see her place amongst all the havoc being thrown her way.
Callan the first man to steal our girls heart has been THROUGH IT Y'ALL 😩. He was in the worst type of way through a good chunk of this book. But that didn't stop him from coming back with the fire in his eyes not just for Avery but for his brothers. He definitely had a hill to climb but he wasn't afraid to do it! He hit the hill with running force (okay not really running, bc he couldn't, but you get what I'm saying.) He made it well known that he wasn't going to sit back and watch it all happen without him.
Sebastian, my man Seb as I so lovingly call him 😍. He was the rockstar in this book! He took Avery under his wing when she needed it the most. Not the approach some would have taken but it worked. For both of them. He made sure that she wasn't left behind, without her they were all going to fall 😭. Right when he didn't think it could happen it did. In a BIG way! He saw Avery in a different light than the Little Devil she had shown them she could be if they messed with her. She because his Little Lamb 🐑. He folded her into his life and couldn't imagine it without her 🥰.
He definitely gave me all of the alpha male vibes I needed for this book! I couldn't have loved him more in this 😍. I am soo excited to see how their dynamic shifts in the next book!
Aidrick, my 🖤 dark horse 🐎 🖤. I love his nonchalance in this book about Avery. It gave him so much more depth throughout and especially towards the end. He is the leader of the Society ☠️, and he definitely refused to let anyone else get that spot. He wasn't going to let anyone continue to mess with what they had going. The epilogue SENT ME 😁.
I KNEW he was going to come around. He just had to see that there was room for everyone. Not just the few he approved of.
I absolutely CANNOT wait for the final book! We definitely had the chase in this one and I hope that we get somw more in the next one as well! I still have no clue who this is running around doing the ABSOLUTE MOST. But I am here for it. SAT and ready 😏.

Ehlen and James really did an amazing job on giving this book and these characters life! Ehlen gave Emerson the perfect voice! I loved that she truly embraced Emerson! James truly gave Gunner the best voice! I couldn't imagine either one of these characters having anything different. This is the first audiobook with either narrator and now I want to listen to more with their voices!!
Okay now onto the main event: THE REVIEW
I'm a newbie to Lainey Davis' work but I couldn't have picked a better book to start with! I absolutely 😍 ADORE 😍 Emerson and Gunner! They couldn't have been a better match for each other. They were the balm to each others wounds and complimented each other in the best ways!
Emerson has definitely been through some things within her life. But that didn't stop her from trying new things or hinder doing what she truly wanted to do! I really enjoyed seeing her grow as a person and be able to spread her wings like a butterfly 🦋. She deserved so much better than she had and she definitely found her person when she found Gunner!
Gunner is such a whole treat of a man ❤️. I absolutely loved his love for Emerson even when he couldn't recognize those feelings. He had thr best reactions to so much even though it could have been the opposite. He was loving, and caring in such a way that helped foster Emersons trust and love. But also the trust with her body. She had never been cherished like she had been with Gunner and came to love ❤️ her body like all women should.
Gunner trust had one of the best families that I have read! I loved how loud, rambunctious and loving they all were! It didn't matter to them if Emerson just joined the family or not they were going to riot for her! Tjis truly made my ❤️ swell so much 🥰.
Not only did the characters compliment each other but they made sure that they gave back to their community! Emerson volunteering at the local place where she could teach kids all about music 🎶 ! I was LIVING for how much they involved their local animal adoptions! I am a huge animal lover and seeing that they wanted to make sure these dogs 🐕 got to have their Fur-ever home was so precious!

Let me just start by saying Raven and Caden did am absolutely AH-MAZING job voicing these characters and giving them so much life!! Naomi made the best choice in bringing these two to the table!!
This gave me all the vibes I didn't know I had been craving in a dark romance book! Naomi had such a way with her words and bringing them into this world just blew my mind! Her lyrical prose truly brought me to a differently world!
This world was one I never expected but now I need to be back there ASAP! This world is one that I definitely want to be in over and over again!
Mercy by name doesn't give mercy in any kind of way. She is sure to make sure that she gets what she wants in the aay that she wants it. She doesn't care what it takes, but she will get it.
Wolfgang is one to carry himself with a certain air that you can't mistake for anything other than confidence. He has quickly became one of my fave dark characters that I have read and I cannot wait to see what else he brings to this storyline.
There two had so much disdain and tension that was so palpable that you could cut it with a butter knife. The banter that these two shared was nothing short of magnificent! I cackled and kicked my legs throughout this story!
I absolutely cannot wait for the next installment!

As soon as this hit my kindle I let out a huge squeal 😂. After the first book I have been waiting not so patiently for this beauty! I knew as soon as Vladi hit the page I was in for a ride 😉.
Maggie Fucking James was the perfect woman for Vladi. She didn't take anything off of ANYONE 👏! I absolutely loved the humor she had about Melissa Joan Heart. I couldn't stop giggling 😂 throughout the book when she mentioned MJH! I would say she definitely lived up to her nickname Vladi so lovingly gave her!
Lisichka was so perfect for Maggie. She was cunning and had a stealthy way about her! She may have not looked like she knew what she was doing but she always had something in her back pocket to quell any problem! The one problem she couldn't fix was the way Vladi made her heart and body feel!
Vladi was such a STUD 😍! I absolutely LOVED 😍 the energy Vladi had when it came to Maggie! He had it bad for Maggie 🩵. Even when neither wanted to fully admit they were into each other I really enjoyed the dance they had! Vladi AKA Wolfie was the man who definitely had an appetite!
I felt for Vladi and the struggles he dealt with but was so glad to know he still had a family in the men he played hockey with! These men gave him the family he didn't have along with the support he needed. I couldn't get enough of Vladi and his boys!
What I loved the most was how well Vladi and Maggie blended together when they finally let it happen! Their chemistry and banter was the best!! I always love that Ellie includes fun references throughout the book!!
As much as I enjoyed this book I am most excited about Bougie's book!! It's next and I cannot wait to see what he gets up to!

This is the first I have listened to Willa and I absolutely loved her version of Allie! She gave me that southern twang that isn't far from where I am. It said in the book she was originally from New Orleans, but her accent definitely wasn't from that region. There wasn't a Cajun or French dialect in the building. BUT that doesn't mean she didn't give Allie such an amazing voice!
I will forever and always be a Jason Clarke STAN! This man gives us allll the broody hero you never knew you needed! I was LIVING for him in The Grump Next Door by Brighton Walsh, and I couldn't have loved him more as Jack. If I would have read this on page his voice is what I would have chosen!
Okay, at this point you shouldn't be in shock and awe when I tell you this is a first from a new to me author 😂. I mean are you expecting that to be the first thing in my reviews now? If it isn't you may be new to my reviews. Or you just don't give a hoot 🤷♀️. Either way thank you for reading this 😘.
Tia has been pn my TBR for years and when I had the chance to listen to this I jumped! It gave me all the Friday night lights that I never fell for when the show was out. This book wouldn't have been the same without a little suspense and some serious 😍 SEXY time between Allie and Jack!
I haven't read the whole series like so many pther reviewers have, bjt that isn't going to stop me from telling you that you don't need to read the other books before this one. But I know it would give you so much background!
I loved that Allie had such an affinity for books 📚 and not just her being a librarian but also being the third string coach (according to Allie) to the drill team. She also had a waitressing job, which in itself can be a whole handful but she was a champ 🏆!
I really loved Allie and her passion! Allie and Jack had a slow burn 🔥 until it sped all the way up! Then things really got steamy! Allie being the amazing person she was not only cared for her son Austin, but she also watched Jack's daughter Kimmy! I absolutely LOVED 😍 Kimmy! She literally made this book go from a 50388393 🌟 to 987867888 🤣. Her curious nature and just her as a whole made this book so much better!
I also truly loved seeing Austin throughout the book and their things teenagers go through. High School crushes, pregnancy, not knowing how to get a girlfriend. But the best thing was when Austin made it a point to be friends with the one person no one else wanted to. He made sure that his friend had a place no matter what.
Where do I even begin with Daddy Jack?? 😍🔥🌶 Okay that says A LOT right there. But in case you need more lemme tell you something good! Jack was the protector who was willing and did take the chance to keep his person alive and well. He had such a big heart and couldn't help but have feelings for Allie even if he never said anything!
I loved how he spoke to Kimmy whenever there was an interaction. It was a beautiful thing to hear. But lemme tell you about little Kimmy and her high kicks from the drill team 🤣.
This girl had some serious kicks to show everyone and I have to say the funniest part was when her uncle told her not to kick too close to her dad because she would make him a soprano 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I laughed so hard about that!
I couldn't get enough of this family and I cannot wait to read more of Tia's books to catch up on what I have been missing all this time!

Stella and Hunter couldn't have been more perfect for bringing Presley and West to life! I couldn't stop smiling and grinning the further I got into the book. Their personalities were able to truly show through Stella and Connor!
I loved how much Stella was able to grow comfortable in her role as Presley. Connor truly came out of the gate being West. He gave me true Daddy energy when he spoke about his girls!
I loved how Presley met West but she could truly see him for who he was. Not just the dad that some people knew he was. Presley had always known her life as one way but truly grew into her new life. She was able to find who she was without being the boss woman, the investment banker.
Presley was such a precious person. I truly could have listened to 6 more hours of these two! They had the best chemistry and banter! Presley had no worries about him having 3 daughters, even though he truly struggled to let her into his life and heart the most.
Even though West is a Foreman for a construction company he struggled to let Presley in. He is so good at building but deconstructing his walls and heart was the real challenge! Having all 3 of his daughters give their opinion along with having their influence on him helped a little. But luckily his best friends tell him how it was definitely did the full kabosh on his reservations!
I couldn't get enough of his daughters! They were so funny and definitely helped make the book better than it already was! I loved seeing their interactions with Presley and how much it touched her.
Listening to this I truly made me want to listen to the other books in the series!

Samantha and Bryant truly did an amazing job telling Layla and Callum's story!! Samantha gave us the perfect voice for Layla! The longer I listened the more I loved hearing her being Layla. Bryant was the PERFECT person for Callum! When he really gave me that southern twang in his voice it just did things. It gave me the southern cop that I would envision Callum being.
I fell sooo hard for Layla and Callum! I WAS LIVING for each moment these two truly began to see what I saw from the very beginning. Two people who needed each other more than they were willing to admit beyond being fake fiances.
Layla is such a strong woman! I absolutely loved 😍 that Maggie gave her a heritage that I don't know enough about but LOVED hearing about! Being not just a flight nurse but also Iranian truly gave her so much dimension. I truly and utterly loved learning more about Layla and her heritage! I was hoping to keep getting more and more! And I definitely got that in the epilogue!
I giggled 😂 so hard when Callum first saw Layla. She was there to transport him because of the accident but he felt like she was a dream. That sure didn't keep him from shooting his shot! He described her as a beautiful woman with Raven black hair. Definitely gave me princess vibes 😌.
Not like I didn't already love Callum but he only cemented that further as he researched Layla's Persian heritage!! He researched it and prepared for meeting her family! He bought the perfect gifts for them so that they wojld take them seriously. But I think he also researched so that he could better understand Layla and her family. I was a SWOONING & SQUEALING mess over this man!
Not only did he keep getting more and more precious as the story went along, but he also learned how much he had come to trust her. He trusted her and that was just as good if not better than love in his book! Not just all the things that he did, he also took Layla's ability to speak because of all of the things he did. And this is the good part because she was truly smitten with him.
He Bride carries her to bed after she comes home from her 24 hour shift even though he shouldn't. He just kept falling harder and harder for her. And it truly showed. Especially when we got a MINE moment in the bar!! I WHOOPED 🤭 out loud at that one!! I just couldn't stop loving this man and all of his ways and quirks.
Don't even get me started on how much I LOVE ❤️ their families!! Callum's Grandma was a HOOT!! I absolutely loved when she told them that a man should always have a wife that is way way out of his league 😂. I laughed for a couple minutes over that one!! Getting to see more about Layla's family was just the balm that I needed. They were truly a family that lived and cared about each other. They further the book went you got to see how much Layla and her family became family to Callum as well. But don't let me forget about how much the town loved Callum. They did so much for him and he for them in return!
I just couldn't get enough of all of the characters in this book!
I absolutely CANNOT wait for the next book in the series!!

I am a Claire Brooks STAN. Now that we got that out of the way, I'm gonna throw another one at you. Ready? Okay, this book had me in allll of my feels. I had heartbreak, love and joy all the way through this book.
There wasn't a time in this book that I didn't want to keep reading. It just do happens I can't stay up for 24 hours to read and do all of the things 🙄. I know its a crime against humanity.
Claire has a way with her words that will forever capture my heart and twist it a little so that I cry 😢 when I read her books. This one was definitely one of those books!
Brynn was a beautiful soul who loves to help the kids she teaches. She just has a huge heart ❤️. And I absolutely loved that about her. She truly gave us a view when she took Scout under her wing and showed her what family truly is! And I can't say that I wasn't rooting her and Theo on the WHOLE time!! When they were finally together I couldn't help but squeal and kick my legs 😁.
Theo, my man who had it all but didn't truly have it all. He had money, but he didn't understand the full ramifications of having a 12 year old girl under his care! Thank goodness for Brynn and his family because they truly came in clutch!
I loved that he wanted to do his best for him, Scout and Brynn in every way that counts! He put in the effort even if he missed the mark a few times! I truly loved his effort and how much he wanted Scout to not just like him but love him.
I couldn't get enough of this book and I am sooo sad that its over! But that just means that Claire is going to make me have some big feels again and dare I say cry again?

I absolutely couldn't get enough of Savannah and Sean as Jolie and Beck!! They really knocked this one out of the park! Savannah fully brought Jolie to a whole new level! I don't think anyone else could have done Jolie justice the way Savannah did!
Sean is obviously a master (😉) at his craft when it comes to giving each character their unique true voice during their book. I have yet to listen to anything Sean has done that hasn't been top notch 🙌. Sean gave Beck the right timbre in his voice with the perfect inflection he deserved. If I hadn't known he was the voice behind Beck I would have thought this was Beck himself.
Marni never ceases to surprise me when it comes to her writing and the characters she brings to life with each book. With every new book, I tell myself how much sooner I should have started reading Marni books!
Jolie and Beck were the perfect storm. As soon as their first text hit with each other i knew these two were going to be a wonderful but of chaos in the best ways. I love that Jolie came into everything with eyes wide open 😉. She definitely gave Beck a run for his money, but also herself. It was a challenge for both of them to be able to try and keep a relationship alive with their jobs.
What I wasn't expecting was the time gap. But I can't say that it didn't keep me even more engrossed in what was going to happen next! I love the banter these two shared! There was always something being said without having to expressly saying it. Where do I even begin with their chemistry?? That was off the charts 🔥🔥🔥. That chemistry really worked in their favor when they were and weren't together.
I truly loved these two and their story! I am sad for their main story to be over. But I am too excited to see them throughout the series!!

When I first read this book I was head over heels for Lincoln & Faye! But Megan & Lee truly brought them from the pages of this beautiful book and gave them the voices and life I felt they had all along.
Megan gave me sooo many Faye vibes from the beginning. Some narrators take a minute to really bring it home for the character, but Megan had it from the very beginning! She made Faye sound like Faye did in my head! Faye was given a voice that I always thought she had!
Lee did a great job as Lincoln! Although I would say that he could have given more embellishment to his voice to really give us that Kentucky twang. But for the most part he did a great job giving Lincoln the life and sarcasm that he had! I truly loved Lincoln as a character and how he parented his girls.

I honestly didn't think that I was going to love this more than I did Bourbon & Lies. But here I am, saying I loved this more than Bourbon and Lies. I felt this book all the way to my bones. I loved Lincoln, Lily and Lark front he first time they were mentioned in B&L and I was beyond excited when I learned this was their book.
Lincoln has been the man with the black glasses that I have had the dad crush on from the very beginning. He is guarded not only for himself but for his girls, for a good reason. He has known loss, and is unapologetic about not wanting to know it again. Lily and Lark are his whole world outside of his family and the bourbon world. Until his world is turned upside down when Faye comes back into town when he specifically told her to not come back.
Lincoln is a man of his word and he sticks to it, he knows without his word he has nothing. But when Faye comes in like a wrecking ball (thank you Miley Cyrus) his world is a bit discombobulated. Lincoln can't help but see that she has him enthralled from the first show she has at Hadley's speakeasy and he knows that the is in trouble. He just has to figure out how much trouble.
Faye is not only a pretty face she can tease and be titillating while being the one to bring down the people who never saw it coming. Faye knew all those years ago that she had to leave because of that awful night she could never leave behind her. What she didn't expect was to come back to Fiasco for a job and be tied up in so much more than she ever bargained for.
Lincoln and Faye have quite literally taken up a whole place in my heart with Lily and Lark. I just love them so much. Faye has come into a dynamic that is already hard to be in, but she embraced it with arms wide open. Sometimes that can be an impossible thing to do, but Lark and Lily really took to her.
I absolutely LOVED Lark and Lily. These two girls are like no other. I loved how Lily had her woo woo crystals and her candy salads. But she also shared her love of music with Lark. Lark was in that age that can be so hard to adjust but she was such a cool kid. She embraced older music that really spoke to her and wasn't afraid to see what was out there. Especially when it came to the CURSE PURSE! The dreaded curse purse. Those girls had a whole racket going with that thing!! I loved that they were able to make some money while trying to keep everyone in check with their language to a point.

These two just oozed sex when they were together! They were the perfect match for each other. They had the chemistry that people could only dream of! Not to mention they also had the banter that kept things spicy between them in the bedroom.
The scenes that we were given within this book I couldn't have asked for better ones. Lincoln and Faye had some of the hottest 🥵🥵🥵 moments without even having sex. Then when they finally did have sex it was ON AND POPPING!! I had to take a few breaks and fan myself and get a few drinks for myself while I was reading these scenes. Because WHEW 🔥🔥🔥.

Ruby and Axel are two of the most dynamite characters I have read in a little bit! That isn't to discount those other characters, but to tell you that these two were OFF THE CHARTS!
These two had the BANTER that rivals all banter! I couldn't get enough! There were times I laughed 😆, hooted and hollered!! And we cannot forget the leg kicks like I was trying to be a Rockette from my couch that came along with it.
This book was full of spice that started at 15%!! YOU READ THAT RIGHT 15%!!! We don't call Kelly the Queen of Spice for nothing!! She brought the spice that was soooo HAWWTTT 💥🔥🔥🔥! I wouldn't have even cared if this had a plot. I would have been here for the smut alone.
Lemme just say that Kelly gave us Axel. A mafia- non-mafia man that could do so much within these pages. But she said HERE CATCH THIS. In walks Ruby. She gave what she got all the way through this book! I loved that we had such a bad AF FMC!

Let me just start by saying Bryant Walker came into this book with his WHOLE BODY! What I mean is this man couldn't have been more perfect for Reaper as a person. His voice couldn't have been more perfect. He knew exactly how to give the cadence and tone for everything that was to be Reaper. I couldn't have loved this man's performance more!! He was just so perfect!
Marie gave Bella the most vulnerable yet strong voice I can still hear in my head when I think of her. I honestly couldn't imagine a better voice for Bella.

I enjoyed Bones but Reaper was the one that I wanted to know more about. He is such a man of mystery and I know there are so many more depths to him. This book could have easily been another 4 hours and I would have still been on the edge of my seat listening. I'm even more excited about the next book!
Bella was living a life that she wasn't truly happy. What she didn't expect was for a literal Reaper to take her and tell her how beautiful her eyes 👁 are and he wants to keep them. It only gets crazier from there! Bella gives him as good as she gets when it comes to Reaper. She has to almost reason with him why she is upset after their first time together. Reaper has no concept of consent. So when she explains what really happened he struggles to understand even if she finished.
When Bella really talks to him he really feels something unlike before where he felt nothing. She is able to speak to him like no other, because he truly listens and truly feels. He has a hard exterior ans has operated so well on not feeling for so long. He has un-alived as he has pleased for so long. But when it comes to Bella, he feels and truly understands.
What I wasn't expecting was for Bella to flip the script and join him in his shenanigans!! I wasn't prepared for it but it definitely became enjoyable. As much as reading a fictional happening can be!
Not going to lie, this book is TWISTED but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the ride as it came along. This book was definitely my favorite of the first two books.

At this point do I even have to tell uou that this is the first I've read from Amber Palmer?? Nope? Good. I'm glad we're both on the same page 🤣.
Okay, so stay with me when I say this book was so much more than I expected. I know I say it frequently, but I need you to open those eyes and see it full stop ✋️. Lennox and Bishop were soooo meant for each other in the absolute best of ways. Yes, there is a 13 year age gap. Hear me out- some men just get better with age like a FINE WINE 🍷. Bishop as one of those men. He will forever be “Daddy” in the best ways possible. Just like Lennox is a brat, because it works for them.
Lennox is the ultimate Barrel Racing Spitfire that made sure she did whay she wanted. Not what was always expected of her, even if she did that too. Lennox is unapologetically herself, even if she's not everyone's cup of tea. But she sure loves her family with her whole heart! That is one thing you won't miss when you read this. She also has a huge heart for animals. Living on a ranch, not everyone feels that sentiment but she truly does!
The mutual pining between Lennox and Bishop is definitely a highlight in the story. Even though he is 13 years her senior, that never mattered to her. He didn't want to say anything because he didn't want to betray the trust he has with her Dad and family. And I truly appreciate that quality in a man. He had been watching her for some YEARS but didn't touch because he didn't want to 💩 where he ate (if you know what I mean.)
I absolutely LOVED these two together!! Bishop with all the daddy vibes and how he treated Lennox. Like c'mon handsome cowboy who will do the most for her?? Say Less. I'm there for it all. They may not have always seen eye to eye but he made sure that she saw him. In all his glory✨️.
When these two FINALLY got together, I was squealing and kicking my legs out! I was soooo here for their dynamic. I still can't stop thinking of them 🥰.
I am soooo excited to see where this series takes me! I'm even more excited to see more of these two in the third book!

Stella and JF literally took Georgia and Alexei and gave them sooo much life!! They gave me more kicking and screaming moments just listening than I would have had without them. I absolutely LOVED having these two in my ears for the duration of this book 📖!
Georgia and Alexei have got to be two of my favorite characters that I have read! The tension was tensioning from the very beginning 😁. That tension built until it slowly started to fall to the side as they each saw that the assumptions they had were being proven wrong.
There two had some of the BEST banter that I have read!! It gave me so many squeals, giggles and leg kicks I thought I had been working out afterwards 🤣. Stephanie gave us all the banter to bring out the chemistry these two had. I loved when they were each being grumpy, it was almost like a flirt with each other even though they were just trying to repel each other.
Georgia became his “Hellfire” which went from a annoying nickname to a term of endearment. Alexei definitely gave us all the “My Wife” moments I wanted and more! I loved how he made sure she knew along with everyone else that she is his and no one else's.
Of course we can't forget about Damon and Stefan! The cutest little dryer lint Alexei has ever seen 🤣. Who knew Mr. Grumpy Pants would end up liking them?? How he found out is what sent me! And the assumptions he had were even more comical only because we knew who she was talking to 😂. I loved the relationship he was willing to build with these two just so that she could be happy 😊.
I fell for Alexei more and more with each chapter and I can't even imagine how Georgia felt when she received flowers EVERY SINGLE DAY for MONTHS 💐. They weren't just flowers to say how much he missed her. Each flower has a meaning behind them, his feelings for her were spelled out for months. The Scream that I scrumpt when she figured it out!!!
The most important thing we can't let go unsaid is Alexei may have acted like he didn't like Georgia but his pulse and heartrate were elevated whenever she was around!! That right there ladies and gents is a man in love 🥰!

Once again Sarah os a victim of my not reading her work before 🤣. I know its not a huge surprise at this point. Once again are we surprised that I was LIVING for this book?? Nope, because I'm a Why choose girlie who loves a man sandwich. Especially a TWIN SANDWICH. Yep, you read that right. They are twins 👬 y'all!!
Ben and Gavin were total opposites but had the best dynamics that were able to shift to include Kate. Not only were they able to shift inside the bedroom but also outside. They could see that the relationship was obviously moving in a different direction, so they were able to shift accordingly.
Kate was a whole GEM 💎! I really loved how she was able to see exactly what she wanted without playing favorites between the two men. She seamlessly switched between Sub and Domme. She was able to give each of the twins what they needed, individually.
I truly enjoyed this throuple and am sad that this is the end of the series but that gives me the opportunity to read the first two books!

I am so beyond sad that this was the end of the Runaway Ranch series! I'm not going to sugar coat how I feel about this series ending. I am sooo torn up about it! I have loved this series from the very beginning and I would gladly read another 4 books! But alas, that isn't the case! That's okay because I know Ava has so much more in store for us!!
Finally getting their story was everything I needed from this series! We've seen them throughout the series but this was the finality that truly made this book worth it and so much more!!
I love a good Black Cat 🐈⬛️ X Golden Retriever 🐕 premise to a book! It always shakes things up and we are able to see the reverse dynamic! It shows so much more of our characters and how they thrive in this kind of scenario.
Fallon has that outershell that she keeps up at all times. Kind of like the hardshell stuff you put on ice cream!! But hers is harder and reinforced to make sure that no one breaches her walls and can truly see her. But I give it to Wyatt because he was smitten with her and couldn't get enough of her! I was LIVING for the moment when she would finally let him in!
I absolutely loved this book and I may be sad its over, but I will always love what Ava has brought us through Runaway Ranch!!

This is the first book I have read by Sloane and It will NOT be the last! Once again I am at the mercy of a talented human being and what she bestows upon us. Sloane is such a talented writer and I cannot believe I waited this long to pick up her book.
Coach Sully had to be one of the hottest characters I have read! He definitely made me want to call him Daddy. And add in the age gap? Yes please and Thank you 😊. I couldn't get enough of Sully and his whole vibe.
With the banter, loads of tension and the super HAWT 🔥 spice! This right here is what makes me want to read even more of Sloane's books!!

Zoe and Chase quickly made their way into my heart ❤️. I loved their chemistry and banter! With plenty of spice to give us everything we didn't know we needed but certainly hoped for 😍.
Zoe definitely made Chase see that she wasn't going to take it easy on him! But they were able to see exactly where they stood and made it work in both of their favors!
These two will be living rent free in my head for a long time!
