Great, very short story about friendship and pets.

Great addition to the series. I loved getting a look into life after Eragon, and following a rider that isn't perfect or all powerful.

Great story. Felt a little too patriarchal, where the man is saving the woman to an extent, and definitely the lead character was larger than life. I didn't feel like I could relate.

But it was a great book, and interesting story. I'm interested in the second.

The book was great, though too much ‘romantic interest' for the first 3/4. Then the romantic interest resolves into some more graphic sex, and the two main characters can't seem to function without thinking about live and relationship. It generally ruined the book for me.

Incredible story with a lot of depth around handling addiction and growth. Some areas got addressed too quickly/cleanly, but overall the story really was wonderful.

The book was fine and really moved along. I have a hard time remembering the characters well, or the plot, after a few weeks, so I'm not sure I'll pick up the next book in the series.

It was a fun read, but really isn't sticking with me. I'm not sure I'll continue.

Pretty engaging story with a lot going on. I don't think I saw the ending coming, but there sure were enough hints that I wasn't surprised in the end.

Probably one of my least favorite Sanderson books, but still wonderful. I found myself a bit lost or uninterested at times, but it still had a satisfying ending.

I loved the book, though wish the ending wasn't left on a cliffhanger. But the ideas of renewable power and a world used to handling outages together and forming families of friendship bonds is great.

Overall an incredibly hopeful book, with some mystery involved.

Great end to the series.

Really interesting start to the series. I came in thinking this would be focused on space battles, and instead we get a lot of traveling story and political intrigue. Though I also see space battles on the horizon for future books.

I'm certainly interested in seeing where this goes.

I was shocked this didn't continue Viv's story the way I'd expected, but gave me so much more than I'd hoped for. Definitely worth a read, either on its own or after the first book.

Good book, but near the end seemed to get a little disorganized. But the final ending came together well and has me interested in the second volume.

Another book in the series that is incredibly short and ends without any real closure. But still a great read and the characters are incredibly engaging.

This went all over my emotional spectrum, and I'm still not positive how I feel about the protagonist. But it got me thinking, and really moved me emotionally. I can't recommend the book enough.

Great, engaging historical fiction following a real character. I felt connected with all the characters, and how all their lives turned out. Even the early deaths impacted me.

This last book seemed to move on from the “school” aspect really quickly and focus on the main cast of characters. It was good, but seemed to really divert from the rest of the trilogy.

Similar to all of Lowell's books, incredibly fast story that sets the stage for the later books. I can't ever explain how, but the book doesn't do very much, but has so much going on, background, and character development that it feels like it's flying along.

Incredibly engaging story setting up a world I can't wait to get back into in the next book in the series.

I only wish the romantic interest didn't resolve itself the way it did, but otherwise it was excellent.

Great, quick introduction with a full story and some closed ends so that if the sequel never comes I'll be fine.

It's a decent description of how the Bible came to us, and what some of the terms mean and how they might apply to our lives. I found myself disagreeing with some of the core tenants and authors beliefs, making the book a little harder for me to love.

Took me a while to get into the story and it seeming almost too focused on romance off the bat, but that quickly changed and I loved the entire process, puzzles, and mystery.
