This one was just too long for me. Ending was good though

it was good. maybe a bit long, but the ending chapters are some heavy metal power chords. every 7 year old must read list.

Fun anecdotes and nice list to add to the backlog of games to try

It took me 25 years to start HP books. I enjoyed the scenes with Dumbledore and Hagrid.

Pacing at end was a bit weird (just like this review). Could have explored the classes in more depth.

The weakest of the three, especially after the ring is destroyed.
Didn't understand the long and convoluted return to the shire and then have to battle with Sarumans cronies. just skip this bit.. and then Frodo had to leave immediately.

Timeless masterpiece.

Also appreciate how good Peter Jackson's adaptation is of this.

A bit boring in the middle sorry

Enjoyable
(But only after halfway)

Start was a bit slow and felt a bit like an AA map of London.
Apart from that, very good book worthy of it's world renown.

Wish the movie was set in London

A nice reprise of some main characters but I'm not sure I enjoyed this one as much as others

I liked the world building, dystopian and nightmarish.
Out of the bleak comes a forgotten hope.

Worth reading - if maybe just start from book alpha as it can get a bit dull during Theo's background.
Not sure if the end made perfect sense realistically but it was trying to be profound.

A nice introduction to Christie. I didn't guess the twist but retrospectively there was just enough for someone to sus out which makes it enticing.
I think I did get murder ‘ fatigue' after a while but it's quite short so we get a nice payoff later.

Enjoyable, though I struggled through some of the rover shenanigans where it felt like the book should be called that. Ending was exciting enough if a bit predictable. Will have to see the film again to see what was changed.
Would recommend

I enjoyed some of this - mainly the gaming references.
I didn't enjoy the characters or their arcs.
Best I can do for a spoiler free review.

Spoilers -
Liked the first half, didn't like the fights. Didn't like the deaths/deactivations.

To paraphrase another review by Mark Porton

Revenge is a dish best served cold,
Edmond served frozen lasagna.

Wait and hope
