Wonderful series but disconnected enough from each other to be read and enjoyed individually. I did the Audible version with wonderful narration but read some of the physical ones too (in the past) and the writing is wonderful and easily understood.
Even though I read all 7 books in one sitting (over a few weeks), I am combining the review to make it simple for anyone interested in buying the complete set (audible or physical). Each book is not a different chapter in the same story line but lightly tied together giving them a fresh look at the wonderful world of Narnia.
