Yolanda is a wonderful writer. She can spin a scene so well, you can FEEL it, not just picture it in your head. This book is dark, is not a romance and the MMC is not a good person. He's pretty freaking nuts actually. But, you can't help by like him through the eyes of the FMC's childhood memories. When she goes home to visit her parents, she finds him. He's no longer the skinny, dirty, swamp kid he was growing up, but he's still her bestie. While she has fantasies of rekindling their friendship + benefits, he does his dark voodoo (literally.) This ends in a HUGE cliffy, be warned. Like I'm still sitting here with my mouth open thinking WHAT THE F. There's gotta be a sequel, like for sure, otherwise I'm lowering this 4 stars to 1 LOL.

I'll start by warning you that this book is heavy. There's a lot to unwrap and deal with. If you are like me, insanely empathetic, you will probably spend a lot of this book taking breaks to scream, cry and try to figure out a way to get into this book and help them enact their well deserved revenge. It took me 2 days to read it, when I probably would have stayed up all night and read it cover to cover, but I couldn't handle all of the emotions, all at once. It's super dark and messed up and there's probably a picture of the cover in the dictionary next to “Trigger”. It's also one of the most beautifully written books I've ever read. You will become the characters emotionally. You'll hate the people who wronged them. You'll love how they save each other. They are both broken, having been betrayed in some of the worst ways by the people around them. In the beginning, they are opposites, one pure, devoted to God and morally perfect. The other, a product of unspeakable cruelty and more horror than anyone should have to endure, all in the name of God. Together, they avenge one life that was spent suffering, and another that didn't realize they had so many wrongs to right. Their love is sik, in the most dark, beautiful way. This is one that I'll be getting a hard copy of to keep in my collection of favs. I can't wait to read it again!! Jescie Hall is a Goddess!!
Wow, I was lucky enough to get a ARC copy of this book and I'm SO greatful. This book took me less than 24 hours to read (including a 10 hour work day and sort-of sleep.) It was SO good, I couldn't put it down. Shhh... I may have hid in the bathroom at work for 10 mins to finish a chapter. This is the 2nd book in the Bouquet of Lies duet, the first book being Bouquet of Lies. It could be read without reading the first book, although why would you. GO READ the first book now before Field of Lilies comes out! I read a LOT of dark stories, this one was just the perfect combo of alpha male, small town, romantic, shouldn't want him but I do, smexy time. It made me laugh, cry, gasp out loud, cheer. You name it, it was like reading about an old friend. DV is an amazing story teller and I'm only sorry I waited so long to read DV's books. Please go preorder this and support DV so she'll keep writing these freaking fantastic books. I'm a fan for life for sure! I didn't want to do any spoilers, so I'll just say when mystery man Killian come into town, Tori rents him her little B&B in the back of her house. The attraction she feels for this bad boy starts a downward spiral for the entire town. Longest review I've ever done, LOL, go read the first book if you haven't and get this one preordered, I promise you won't regret it!

Don't want to spoil, or have my review denied, if you are a dark poly book freak like me, you'll LOVE this one. Hit's all the warnings you could ever dream of with messed up main characters and lots of stuff that makes you wonder how messed up you must be to love this stuff! Thanks Alina, your mind is a dark place and I'm moving in!
5 overall, but a 1 for ....
Being too short! Wow Alina packed a 1000 page book into a quicky, and I mean that in the best way! The characters, the storyline, everything was perfect. Read the TW's for sure, this isn't for you ladies/guys out there that like sweet and sane. If you are like me and love bad boys and strong women, you will love this one. This is the first book I've read by Alina and I'm crossing my fingers that there are more!!! LOVED IT!
What a read!!
Daisy has been through so much in her life, losing her mother, then her brother is murdered...Almost charged with killing her brother, his 3 best friends take the fall and have been in prison for it. She wants to know the truth and what better way to find out than to live with his 3 best friends who may or may not have killed him! This is a great book, some parts where I just shook my head at her idiocy, but enough good stuff to let me suspend disbelief a bit. Wolf, Jace & Otis are just trying to keep her safe, not sure if the smexy times are the best way to keep her safe, but I thoroughly enjoyed them LOL.
The rich guys, the best friend, the body guard and the girl
When a girl finds a message in a book at the in house rehab she's in, it starts an adventure across the globe to find the next hint and the man who left them. So what if her trip is funded by 2 rich aholes and their best friend. This is a great book that hits so many feels; mental illness, love, MM, MFM, MF, and a MFM M at one point LOL. It really was a great book and I can't wait to read the next one!
Wowza!
This one is pretty intense. It definitely draws out the FMC being anything but creeped out by her stalker, sort of LOL. If you like this genre you will love this book. Every page flies by as the story unfolds. Plenty of fear and unalive and smexy times. First book I've read from Harmony and I loved it! On to the next book!
Great book
Not your typical bully story, not a RH either. Just a girl who is expected to be with a boy, their families put them together practically since birth. But she's got a secret, his brother. His brother who wants nothing to do with her. She can feel him walking into a room, she sneaks looks at him and he makes her feel alive, but he can't stand her.
One night changes everything and a decision changes all of their lives.
Fantastic story, strong characters, not your typical rich spoiled girl.
What a ride!
This is one of the best RH stories I've read. All of the guys are these amazing personalities and they all love her so much. Just enough angst and self hate and love and smexy times and twists that I read both books in like 2 1/2 days and still worked my job. Reese is freaking awesome, I love these books!!!!

One badass girl, one asshole guy, FREAKING OUT OF MY GDAMN MIND plot twist. I'm crying, although disclaimer; I cry a lot. But HOLY SHIT. READ THIS!

I don't know what to say, I don't want to spoil anything LOL. I'll just say that book 2 is as shocking and wonderful as book 1. I'm going to have to go run around the block or something and scream to get out all of my angst and energy from the book. I read it as quickly as I could, I lost sleep, it was SO worth the wait!!!!

Jonathan, sigh, I've wanted to get into his life for 7 books. What a life it is. I don't want to ruin any of this with spoilers, if you've made it this far, make sure you go to Rina's website and look at the reading order, you need to start at the begining of the series, it means so much more this way! LOVE THIS BOOK.
