See allThis series is amazing and Final Offer was the best way to end this series. Cal was so amazing and I loved watching his progression through the book. Lana was such an amazing character for Cal. This book is highly emotional and I didn't expect all the feels that came with it. Cal is by far my favourite Kane brother! His effort to get better was truly amazing and I loved how much he wanted to prove to himself that he was worth it.
Also: this book deals with addiction and truly shows the struggles of how it feels like to live with an addiction. So be mindful of that before reading!
“Sometimes I wished I wasn't a Devil, because she was the kind of girl who deserved someone who'd never put her through hell.”
This story had me trying to figure all the little twists out from the beginning. Decker and Mallory are absolutely electric! From their first encounter you can tell they're perfect for each other. While trying to write an expose they unintentionally fall in love. A bunch of heartache, and craziness threaten to come between these two.

“For a long time, I had convinced myself that Oaks was the wrong boy for me, for my heart, for good common sense. Turned out it was just the wrong timing, not the boy. The boy is exactly who I want to spend the rest of this crazy life with.”
Tilly and Oaks have been separated for five years. After overhearing a conversation Oaks and her father had, Tilly realized her future with Oaks wasn't what she had hoped. Now she needs a contractor to help fix the Inn she inherited and Oaks is the only one who can help her. Will they be able to remain civil to get the project done?
This short, sweet read was beautiful. Oaks and his little heart broken self made me feel so much. He is such a beautiful character. Tilly is a strong woman who is just overwhelmed with life. I loved that she was able to take a step back and realize there is more to life than just responsibility.
I really wanted more of Oaks and Tilly. The epilogue was perfection! And even though this book is sweet down to its core, the spice level is pretty decent! There are plenty of spicy scenes to go around. I can't wait to read more about the people in Deacon!

This book surprised me, and I'm unsure if it was in a good way? I wasn't expecting this book to turn ...weird...when I signed up for the tour LOL. It started off great. Wonderful spicy scenes, the story was easy to follow, there wasn't a lot of information dumps that didn't need to be there (which I appreciate so much). But then it gets a little weird. Some shady side characters that deserved death, descriptive scenes on killing wildlife, kidnapping and assault. Brock turns into a feral man, which I mean...granted. But it fell a little short for me.
I didn't see any TWs listed anywhere before reading this, so it was definitely something that took me by surprise. And if you have triggers PLEASE look them up or reach out to me.
Overall the book was good but I found myself skimming some scenes (the animal deaths and assault particularly). I love how Brock found his peace, and Jessie won her dad's company back. But there were just some parts I wasn't fully expecting to happen.
Ashley just walked away from an engagement to a guy she didn't really love and moved in with her best friend temporarily. Although the wedding wasn't going to happen, she decided to not let her honeymoon go to waste. Her friends, worried about her bad relationship choices, decided that if she was going to have a rebound trip, they were going to set her up.
Maddox has never taken a holiday, and when he found out the girl he's been crushing on since first grade was hosting a contest to find someone to bring on her honeymoon, he couldn't resist applying.
When he surprises her on the plane, they agree to have an amazing vacation in Nassau and let things flow naturally.
Gah. I love a sweet friends-to-lovers story and this one has jumped high on my list of favourites. Maddox's relationship with his siblings is amazing. I love the banter between him and his family. The chemistry between Maddox and Ashley was off the charts! The flirting relationship before they even go together was amazing.
I love Ashley's relationship with her mom and her friends. They played a large roll in Ashley's life and I loved all the interactions with them. There are a few times this story made me feel sad and emotional, and one scene in particular that hurt my soul a little bit. It was so beautifully written that I could feel the pain.
Definitely give this one a shot if you like friends to lovers and small town romance!
