this was lowkey confusing, the main character is aubrey but then they only refer to aubrey's sister as miss aubrey. when i read 'aubrey is going to marry lord ruthven' i thought i was getting gay vampires and was disappointed that i wasnt.

i thought that i wouldn't cry at meruem and komugi death scene bc its on paper and ended up crying anyway. 10/10

this is a good book if this is your first time looking into this topic. if you've already looked into this then you wont find yourself learning anything new (hence why i'm not finishing it)

i think there is good stuff in here, HOWEVER the tone of this book is very aggressive. theres solid advice but it needs to be filtered out and said in a way that readers will perceive it and take it as is. having to constantly filter what i am reading is exhausting, i dont need to do that it shouldve been done already. i dont have it in me to finish it.

i was not expecting much but it was fun :) gaiman's letter on coraline is a nice cherry on the top

yeah i've tried to pick up and read this book multiple times this year and struggle getting through a chapter. i usually dont rate books but its extremely unreadable.
