2.5 Another book that could have been way shorter. Cute premise, but annoying female lead.

The book was enjoyable and if creepy doll stories freak you out, you will enjoy this book. I found it a bit long. That is what kept me from giving the book a 4 star rating.

Entertaining, but I wanted a bit more.

I listened to this on audio. I did not like the voice of Lucas and it probably took away something from the book. Still an enjoyable read though.

If you were a fan of The Karate Kid you will enjoy this book. Not a lot of substance otherwise but still an enjoyable read.

The book held my interest throughout, It is well written and moves quickly. I would have given it a 5 star, but I figured out the end sooner than I would have liked.

The story was good and very impactful. I just am not a fan of her writing style.

I feel that this book didn't stand up to her past works. It felt very elementary to me, almost like she didn't write the book. I was disappointed to say the least.

I couldn't finish this. Too much meandering between characters and plot lines.

Another DNF. It felt more like a pat on the back than a memoir.

This came close to a DNF. The idea of this story sounds interesting, but there was a lot of jumping around between narratives. It could get a bit confusing. I felt like it needed just a bit more.

I really liked the the story and characters and was on my way to rating it a 4 or 5. Then it ended. Abruptly.

This memoir kept me entertained throughout the book. I can see where people can get the idea that it is ego driven, but isn't that the point of a memoir? I found his stories entertaining and yes, Jada was right, it wasn't funny.

You must listen to the audiobook. It is read by the author and really has a way to suck you into his life.

Exactly what I would expect from a YA romance novel. Definitely kept my interest and I will be reading the next book in the series.
