I don't know what Ana Huang puts in her characters, but I can't get enough!
I wasn't sure how much I would connect with this book because I usually don't like "party boy" characters, but Xavier Castillo took me by surprise. I was not expecting to love him as much as I did. He's one of the sweetest MMCs in any Anaverse book I've read so far, if not the most.
Sloane is the "serious" one. She's a badass and knows how to solve a crisis and throughout the book she shows her more emotional side. Also, the pet name Xavier gave her and the explanation behind it... I think it's my favorite from this series until now. I can barely believe that Dante's "mia cara" was dethroned but Xavier is that good.
In general, this is another hit for me from Ana. This King of Sin series is SO good. I'm diving straight into King of Envy because Vuk and Ayana make quite a few cameos and I'm too intrigued by their story.
