《Although my skin is white as snow, my soul is far from pure.》
This Cinderella + Snow White + Sleeping Beauty + Frozen retelling wasn't as entertaining as the first book of this series 😢
There's something wrong with this one, it seemed to be less cured than Sinful Cinderella. 😪
I will still read the next book, hoping it will be far better than this one 😊
(I still don't know if I should rate it with two or three stars, so probably the rating will change in the next few days)
This book is so boring. It was impossible to relate to Miranda in any possible way because she talked about her experiences in such a dry manner that almost gave me goosebumps (a little example: she talks for like ten seconds about how she overcame the loss of her first boyfriend who died when they were young. Like, WTF?! If she can't make me feel anything when she talks about something like this, how can I possibly not feel like a dry sponge for the rest of this crap?). Overall it was repetitive too, so I don't regret rating it with a single star.

Finally I have this juicy baby in my hands ♥ It's so good to flip these pages full of good stuff ___
Now I regret I read Illuminae's ebook version. I feel like I need the paperback to re-read it RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THE GRAPHIC DESIGN IS SO GORGEOUS AND NOW I KNOW THE EBOOK WAS A LITTLE SHIAT!!!!
Read 21~23/o4/2o17
Little personal recap: Ok, at the end I obviously bought Illuminae too (can you see how can I be so dumb?) and I jumped right on it as soon as I got it because I wanted to re-read it in order to get on the feels train once again before getting on the highly hyped Gemina. Little recap is over
I seriously have mixed feelings right now. 😵
I don't know, I feel almost disappointed at the moment. I was hyping so much over this book because of all those positive reviews (most of them saying Gemina was way better than Illuminae), so at the end I'm here feeling guilty because I didn't like it as much as I would have wanted 😢
I still liked it, mind you, but during the whole reading process I felt like it was lacking something. I mean, Illuminae had those zombie-likes and a darker and scarier tone in it.. And above all, THOSE PLOT TWISTS OMG they made me feel deceived and gave me chills for days (a lot less during the re-read obvs since I already knew what was going to happen, duh). While in Gemina, well.. Yeah. The only fat plot twist was predictably at the end of the book but it didn't give me the same emotions that those in Illuminae previously did 😪
Anywhoooo, I think it still deserves four stars (with a little extra) BUT I honestly hope Obsidio will be STUNNING and reasonably FLAWLESS because I deserve it, k? 💁
Re-read 16/o3~o7/o4/2o18
Well, I planned to re-read Illuminae and Gemina before Obsidio's releasing date and it was all happiness and excitement until freaking Amazon told me that Obsidio wasn't available (excuse you, I've ordered it almost one year ago. How could that be?! Tell me if it happened to you before, because it can't be.) and has been postponing the shipment for, like, almost a month now. SO. I don't want to make excuses (yeah, right 😂), but as the time passed I've lost interest in reading Gemina because I was feeling depressed and I've wanted to burn the books with my house along with them lmao
Anywhooooooo, beside that, I've read almost half of the book in one sitting today and I have to say that I liked it more than the first time I've read it 💙
So, well, I guess I will change my rating to 5 stars because I feel good. And, who knows? Maybe making some good I will get some good in return (➡️Obsidio will
be shipped in a couple of days⬅️ maybe? I'm delusional, I know. The shipment date is still a mystery and I'm so angry rn sgrunt) 😁
《This was only the second time Carswell Thorne had stopped to ponder one Kate Fallow. The first time, he had wondered why she liked books so much, and if it had anything to do with why he liked spaceships. Because they could take you somewhere far, far away from here.》
This was one of my favorite novellas from The Lunar Chronicles :)
Thorne is love, as always <3

《They had stood against all adversity to be together, and now they would forge their own path to love.》
《I'm resilient, I'm trustworthy and I would do anything for Cinder. So why shouldn't it be me?》
I'm so disappointed :(
I thought I could overcome the drawing style of this graphic novel but nah, the more I went on reading, the more I disliked it.
The worst of it is that I had the feeling that the characters have been deprived of everything that made them look perfect to me. They didn't seem like themselves and it's such a pity :(
Don't misunderstand, it still has been enjoyable, but I think it lacked something: it wasn't as entertaining as the books (I know, the format is different, but still meh.).
Anyway, I'm SO excited because I shipped Iko and Kinney from the very beginning lol. I can't wait to see when they'll put their shit together just because ♥
I will surely read the next volume, but I hope it will be far better than this one!
《The young princess was as beautiful as daylight. She was more beautiful even than the queen herself.》
I L-O-V-E-D this book ♡
This has been such a perfect conclusion to this series!!
Love, a revolution, hope, friendship and EVERYTHING IN IT gave me so many feels!![I especially fangirled as hell from 95% onward BECAUSE MY SHIPS WERE IMMENSELY ADORABLE (and Thorne is flawless perfection, you don't say)!!]
What with my wish to see Iko with a boyfriend tho??? :C I put so much faith in Kinney but meh, I think it wasn't doable. Gah!! I don't knowwwww, but I still wanted it so bad~May I dare to hope something good will happen in 《Something Old, Something New》? The title sounds so promising~♡
《Weiss suddenly felt very small. He craned his neck up, stepping backward to fit Titanic into his field of vision. Is this how the ant feels, he wondered, when faced with the enormity of a human?》

The Walking Dead
I know
thumbs up!
Odio, odio come scrivono.
I need a Greedy Motherfucker Magnum bowl of ice cream, stat.
I should remember not to read another book about an ice creamery, it left me craving for it :'C
On the other side, the first half of this book was H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S thanks to the names Ryleigh (the owner of the naughty Licked ice creamery) gave to her sundaes, boozes and ice creams. Of course you can't expect me to don't write down my faves lol these should be marked on my tombstone, LIKE PLEASE DO IT!
• Feisty Ho-bag• Nibble My Nuts• Cookie Dil-dough• Coke Whore• Your Ass is Grass• Cinderfuckinrella• S&M&M• The Wanker• Red-Headed Slut• Stroke 'n Poke• Clam Jam• Dirty Smurf• Pansy Ass
And this omg THIS:
《As the deliciousness that was Cameron walked out, a new recipe took hold in my mind. A Sex God Sundae: a king-size banana split, salty nuts, extra cream.》
100% DEAD.
This has been such a light and fast read, so just read this one if you need a break :)
《I think you might be right, though. Maybe there isn't such a thing as fate. Maybe it's just the opportunities we're given, and what we do with them. I'm beginning to think that maybe great, epic romances don't just happen. We have to make them ourselves.》
This book. THIS BOOK OMG!!
I wish I could write anything that would make sense but I feel like it's impossible. Luckily I'm stubborn so I'll try anyway lol I hope talking about the characters will help me out :P
• I feel so bad for Cinder because she blames herself way too much :( I hope she will be more positive and finally happy in Winter because she totally deserves it <3
• Cress is PURE LOVE. She's so cute, so squishy, so.. PURE. If she was real, I'd hug her and cuddle her the whole time <333
• Thorne is.. Thorne. ‘Nuff said. I think he wants to act like a bad boy but I can see how good he is <333333 + I ship him so hard with Cress, LIKE MY HEART NEEDS THEM TOGETHER RN (but I think it's just common sense lol).
• And Ikooooo <333 I was SO HAPPY when Thorne got that escort-droid because I TOTALLY KNEW THEY WOULD HAVE USED ITS BODY FOR IKO!! It feels like she can totally be herself thanks to that and it fills me with joy <3 Anyway, is it possible for her to have a bf? I WANT HER TO HAVE ONE NOW. Maybe the android that looked like Kai lol
• Poor Kai, I felt so stressed during the whole book when it came to him :( I wanted to hug him every time é.è I fangirled way too much when he finally kissed Cinder tho IT WAS ABOUT TIME <3 but of course Levana would have ruined that perfect moment, figures.
• The Doctor, poor baby. I don't know what you think, but I always felt bad for him :( I wouldn't have blamed him for anything he did, honestly. AND WHEN HE SAID TO CRESS HE WAS HER FATHER OMG My heart was dying too in that moment, like WHY DID IT HAVE TO GO THAT WAY?! *cough* Ok, sorry.
• Anyway, here comes the unpopular opinion: I didn't like Scarlet and Wolf in this book. AT ALL. I would have liked to punch her in the face and Wolf was just.. too much. I don't even know how to explain it, but there was something about both of them that was way too irritating.
I hope they will take a grip on themselves because they almost ruined my majestic experience with this book smh
• And about Sybil Mira YOU TOTALLY DESERVED IT, BITCH!! Burn in hell and don't ever come back, sayonara.Like, the only good thing she ever did was throwing herself down the tower. I would have gladly helped pushing her tho I'm too kind, I know <3
Carswell's Guide to Being Lucky and The Princess and the Guard are waiting for me and I HONESTLY CAN'T WAIT to get to Fairest, I bet it will be amazing too ____
《I told him that my mother had lately died during the birth of my youngest brother and this had caused our family a good deal of hardship. Archibald Ross replied that for folk like us there was no other ship than the hard ship.》

This review will be spoilery, so watch out u.u
Well, I spent the whole night trying to finish this book (31~84% from 3am till 7am. YES. I stopped to read for a couple hours but I HAD TO GO ON), soooooo I guess it's supposed to be a good book, right? :)
I wanted so bad to know how it ended or if there would be more facts to know about (since the beginning I couldn't feel like I could wholly trust Roddy's account, for he being a murderer).
Honestly, at this right moment I don't know what to think about him. I feel confused in a weird way, but I can't explain it very well lol
Did he really kill them because of Lachlan MacKenzie's behavior or did he solely wanted to rape Flora? But then, why did he bother to take the tools with him? Was it only to have a kind of excuse to go there or did he plan to kill her after raping her?During the whole time of the trial my theory was that he raped Flora and inflicted her such injuries firstly because she rejected him twice, but also because in a twisted way he wanted to "punish" Lachlan, considering the fact he used to have sexual intercourseswith Roddy's sister, Jetta (I still have to understand if they were lovers or if he used to rape her tho. If he used to, then my theory makes even more sense, I think). I mean, I don't think it is a coincidence he put her corpse on the table, considering the fact Roddy surprised Lachlan while having sex with Jetta in that position. Do you know what I mean, right? XD Maybe Lachlan arrived at home while Roddy was raping her on the table, facing the same scene Roddy saw that time??? This is mindfucking me, buddies.DO YOU SEE IT? I HATE WHEN I DON'T KNOW THE TRUTH, NGHHHH. Why didn't he even bother to write something after the trial?! Just don't leave me like thiiiiiiiis D:In any case, I always find it hard to forgive a killer, especially when they try to defend themselves saying they are insane or whatever. Like, seriously?! Of course you're all cuckoo, but it doesn't mean you have the right to live "happily" (like to live in prison would be an happy ending lol) after taking other people's lives {even if I can understand how sometimes some people just don't deserve the right to breathe my same air, being the scum of this world -.- I'd never end up killing someone, but Lachlan didn't deserve any less being a bully who just wanted to ruin other people's lives IMO. Deprive a family of their food and house without a real reason? WOW, seriously? -.-}Anyway, I don't feel like it's supposed to be right to argument a sensitive topic like this one on a site like GR, so I'll probably edit this review very soon, I don't know lol
Anywho, I would have gladly given it five stars, but the part of the trial was too repetitive, being kind of boring :/ Beside that, this book totally deserves the hype :)
《“There are all these perfect people here. And... It's like, if you're not one of them, then you're messed up. But I think, inside, the flawless-looking people are just as messed up as we are.”》
Overall I think the first book was slightly better.
Sadly, there's really not much I can say about this one either (I already watched the first seasons of the TV series, so nothing surprised me that much), but I still enjoyed it finding out this one was a quick read, too!
《I'm still here, bitches. And I know everything. — A 》
As I watched the first seasons of the TV series I already know what's going on and what's going to happen, but nonetheless I've never lost the interest in the story throughout the whole book and I kept up pretty well remembering everything back again.
The book gives me a kind of “lighter” feel (because of the writing style, I suppose? It obviously can't be because of the plot, duh.), so I can say it's been a fast and lovely read (it actually took me a short time to read it, even if I went through a sort of reading slump that stopped me for 5 days :/).
I'll be trying to go on straight away with the series (I hope so lol)!
《BOOKSELLER: Can I help you at all?CUSTOMER: No, I don't think you're qualified. I need a psychiatrist; that's the only help I need.BOOKSELLER: . . . OK.》
People. PEOPLE. WHYYYYY ARE YOU LIKE THIS??
I've worked for five years as a shop assistant and I swear on God people are really THAT dumb, like I was going crazy FR.
This was a quite funny book tho, but I didn't have the time of my life reading it, so 3 stars are enough u.u
