so, i read it. and i liked it. mostly. because it did get boring at points (417 pages is a long time for one plot line). however, i walked into it expecting a stereotypical romance, and that is sorta what i got but the relationships were slightly more complicated and developed slower, which made the book a little less stereotypical. there were some super stressful points in the book when so much was happening and just reading it made me feel overwhelmed, but overall it was good. i'd probably recommend this to someone who is looking for a slightly romantic, quick, realistic teen fiction read.

Brilliant. If I wasn't so set on becoming a scientist, this book would make me want to attend law school.

An incredibly moving account of grief and love, the ways they tangle together, what it means to continue to live after the loss of a loved one. Prepare to shed many tears.
