Jim Aparo was born in 1932 and died in 2005. Their most popular book is Batman: A Death in the Family with 82 saves and an average rating of 3.78.
Jim Aparo was an American comic book artist best known for his work with DC Comics from the late 1960s through the 1990s. Born in Connecticut, Aparo began his career in advertising and commercial art before moving into comics. He first gained attention at Charlton Comics, where he worked on titles such as The Phantom. In the early 1970s, he joined DC Comics, where he became one of the defining artists of Batman, Aquaman, and The Brave and the Bold. Aparo was particularly known for his long run on Batman and the Outsiders and for his contributions to major Batman storylines, including A Death in the Family, which featured the death of Jason Todd, the second Robin. His clean, dynamic style and ability to both pencil and ink his own work made him a versatile and respected figure in the industry. Aparo continued working in comics until the early 2000s and remains celebrated as one of the quintessential Batman artists of the Bronze Age of comics.
