Paulette Livers is the author of the novel Cementville (Counterpoint Press), winner of Elle magazine’s Lettres Readers Prize, finalist for the Center for Fiction’s Flaherty-Dunnan First Novel Prize, and shortlisted for Chicago Writers Association Book of the Year. Among recognitions for her work are fellowships from the Artcroft Foundation, Ox-Bow Artist Residence, Vermont Studio Center, and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts; the Aspen Writers Foundation Bedell Scholarship, Meyerson Prize for Fiction, Denver Women’s Press Club Award; honorable mentions from Center for the American West, Hunger Mountain, Red Hen Press, and Writers@Work.
