She’s worked as an activity aide in a nursing home’s psychiatric unit. She was a potter and painter with an art studio and small gallery in Seattle. She’s also been a market researcher, a nurse’s aide, a waitress and a library page.
Susan grew up near Detroit, Michigan and received a BFA with Honors from University of Oregon and a MBA in Marketing from Seattle University. She’s a member of NetGalley, the Pacific Northwest Writers Association and Women’s Fiction Writers Association. She lives in a windy part of the Pacific Northwest with her husband.
