This is one of those rare occurrences where the movie adaptation was better than the source material. The problem with this graphic novel is length. The story seems rushed. Although it has a strong foundation for a story line, the writing lacks substance.
I wish there was more to the story as everything was resolved a mere page or two and by the end of it, I felt as though I just read a pamphlet instead of a book. Two stars went to the artwork which I thought was highly atmospheric, giving the environment a cold and desolate feel. As for the overall story, I'd say watch the movie instead.
